MTV‘ gets the brain trust back together for their annual Hottest MC In The Game list. At number 10 is MMG’s, Meek Mill.

While he prepped his debut album, Dreams and Nightmares, the MMG rapper kept busy early in the year with features on Rick Ross’ Rich Forever mixtape, in addition to appearances on remixes of tracks like Wale’s “Slight Work” and Tyga’s “Rack City.”

By the spring, he delivered a brand-new body of work on hisDreamchasers 2 mixtape, which included the smash “Amen” (featuring Drake) and other notables like “Racked Up Shawty” with Fabolous. Even Jay-Z took notice, signing Meek to a Roc Nation management deal while his tape was still in heavy rotation.

French Montana Brings Out Meek Mill & AR-AB In Philadelphia

On February 28, 2013, French Montana performed in Philadelphia, Pa. This was the same night as the shooting that occured outside of French Montana’s tour bus. French brought out fellow MMG member, Meek Mill to perform “Ima Boss”, “Believe It”, “Racked Up Shawty” and “Young & Gettin’ It” before bringing out Philly’s own AR-AB to perform “Goons Gone Wild.”

Pastor Who Was Up In Arms Over Meek Mill’s ‘Amen’ Has Joined Team Cassidy

Remember Jomo K. Johnson? The pastor behind the Meek Mill boycott when his single “Amen” released? Well the nutcase who has released Meek Mill and MMG diss songs in the past has returned. The pastor who even went as far to publish a Meek Mill bashing book titled “No Amen” is back and he’s helping Cassidy with an autobiography. Yep, you read that right.

Pastor Jomo K. Johnson has reappeared and will be helping Meek‘s arch-nemesis Cassidy (who has now devoted his life to Jesus Christ) by penning his autobiography Behind B.A.R.S. The book will be available March 30th and is already available for pre-order here.

Meek Mill Hints At Joint Mixtape With Wale?

Vibe stopped Wale and Meek Mill on the red carpet on he GRAMMYs. Meek revealed that the next single from his debut LP Dreams & Nightmares will be ‘Believe It’  with Rick Ross. He also hinted at a joint mixtape with Wale which could drop this Summer.

Wale said he  is recoding his third album and said that he’ll be going into the studio with No I.D. to work on new songs.
