Jay Z’s Magna Carter World Tour made a stop in Philadelphia last night, and during his set he brought out hometown hero Meek Mill to perform the intro from his debut album and his hit single “I’m A Boss”. Meek Mill caught up with Vlad TV at Revolt TV’s studio launch during Grammy weekend and he revealed that he was about 70% done with his upcoming album. I also heard him say that he was looking to drop his album in the second quarter.

Meek Mill wants to advance his knowledge of please-and-thank-yous and fancy forks — the rapper wants even MORE lessons in manners… after completing his court-ordered etiquette classes.
Mill was ordered to take the etiquette classes last year after violating his probation in his 2008 gun possession case. The judge said Mill needed to refine his use of social media and learn to behave.
According to Meek’s lawyer, the rapper passed the courses with flying colors — including classes about dressing for success and proper social media communication — but enough wasn’t enough.
We’re told Meek has now hired Gail (from the Madison School of Etiquette and Protocol) and she tells us, Meek wants her to to school him on fine dining skills, particularly of the international variety … because he travels so much.

While there isn’t a whole lot of information on Meek Mill’s forthcoming new album, but I believe we can safely say that Timbaland will be on it.
Meek Mill took to Twitter early this morning to announce that he is dropping his next album in 2014. No word on the title or release date but we will keep you updated.

Pretty self-explanatory: Meek Mill was in the northern country kissing babies and shaking hands, and Will Knows scored some footage of what went down.

B.o.B shares his thoughts on Kendrick Lamar’s much talked about “Control” verse, saying that he wasn’t surprised that he wasn’t mentioned with the other rappers on the track. The “Airplanes” rapper says that he isn’t usually put in the same categories as other emcees, saying that he’s “so much more” than just a rapper.
He also shares his thoughts on the response tracks, revealing that he enjoyed Meek Mills’ “Ooh Kill ‘Em” diss the best, saying Meek didn’t disappoint with his bars and energy on the track.
I don’t know if this is official (its not), but it doesn’t really matter because if you wanted 11 minutes of some of the biggest names in rap and basically everyone who killed “Shit” by Future.

Meek Mill releases the visual for his track with Travi$ Scott, Birdman & Diddy, off his Dreamchasers 3 mixtape….unfortunately, Diddy & Birdman don’t make a appearance in the video.

Over the weekend (Dec 8.), Meek Mill held a concert in Wilmington, Delaware, and everything was going smoothly until the concert ended and gunshots rang out.
It’s widely believed that there was more than one shooter, but police have yet to arrest anybody or identify suspects. Fortunately, nobody lost their life but four people were injured, though none critically.
“State police spokesman Sgt. Paul Shavack says that when troopers arrived at the Moodswing Niteclub in Wilmington just before 2 a.m. Saturday, about 600 to 700 people were in the parking lot trying to get away from the shooting. They were running and in their cars.
Troopers said they could hear multiple gunshots by more than one shooter being fired within the crowd that was there to see the popular rapper. Shavack says two victims were treated at the scene and taken to hospitals and friends took two others for treatment. “
