Pusha T Confirms Upcoming Clipse Album; No Malice Speaks On Reunion

It’s coming….that’s all I need to hear, but recently, No Malice has also added his input, stating that he will not regress when it comes to his music (as far as his faith is concerned):

“My brother and I are taking two different approaches to music…I’m very proud of the Clipse catalog. I really enjoyed that music and most of all, it’s made me who I am today. That’s not the kind of music I’m doing. I still hold out hope for a Clipse reunion. I really believe that we will be able to do it, but any music that I make is totally 100 percent going to glorify God. That’s what I do. That’s what I’m about. I’m still holding out hope that can happen.”

Pusha T Gives Children 1,000 Pairs Of Shoes In Virginia

Keeping right along with the yuletide cheer (or whatever the phrase/term is), Pusha Ton (with the help of Adidas) held a 1,000 Shoes for 1,000 Smiles event at the Norview Recreation Center in VA. He also spoke on the event:

“I feel blessed to be able to come back to my community and help 1k Shoes for 1k Smiles reach it’s goal of donating 1,000 shoes.”

You can check out some pics from the event above.

We’re a little late but right on time with Justin Timberlake’s remix with J. Cole, A$AP Rocky and Pusha T, of which the single is originally found on his album The 20/20 Experience (2 of 2). In the song, J. Cole responds to Kendrick Lamar’s “Control” verse whiles Pusha T tells us he has the album of the year. I wonder how J. Cole felt about that?

Pusha T: Stand For Something (Video)

After releasing his solo debut studio album, My Name Is My Name, last month, Pusha’s finally found his spot on a major label. The 36-year-old Virginia Beach rapper had been working on his solo debut for over a year, and after a few hurdles, the Kanye West-executively produced project was met with critical acclaim. Even with his most recent successes, his patience and tolerance are at an all-time low. His life is surrounded by business. “Anything that’s untrue jeopardizes my business,” he says.

He’s learned the best way to be truthful is just to talk straight, and that’s something his dad taught him early on. “Speaking truthfully is the only way to go—and the easiest way to go,” he says. “Everyone just needs to stay on a straight and even plane, and that all begins with truth.”

Pusha T Covers The Source (Video)

In addition to a colorful fur coat wearing Rick Ross, Pusha Ton also made the cover of this month’s Source issue. You can check out an excerpt and some behind the scenes interview action below.

Pusha T graces the cover of The Source Magazine in what marks his first major placement on a print cover as a solo artist. In the ever-changing landscape of Hip-Hop, the Virginia native has lived through personal and professional tragedies en route to releasing multiple classic albums. “The Source is where we get a bird’s eye view of the evolution of hip-hop. A cover to commemorate My Name Is My Name, is dope. Pun intended” says Pusha T. Pusha talks about working under the watchful, perfectionist eye of Kanye West, and what life as a former drug-dealer from Virginia whose outlasted both his friends and his enemies.
