PICS: The Aftermath Of Suge Knight Shooting
Thanks to TMZ, we can now see the bullet wounds and scar left on Suge Knight following the now-well-publicized shooting at a pre-VMA Awards party that was hosted by Chris Brown. It’s kind of graphic.
Suge Knight Challenges Rick Ross To A Fight…. (Video)
I don’t know, either. Suge Knight recently spoke to Pop Candies TV about a variety of interesting topics, including Kendrick Lamar, the upcoming N.W.A. biopic and wanting to fight Rick Ross (winner gets to keep his beard….not kidding).
Suge Knight Blasts Diddy, Claims That Tupac Shaker Isn’t Dead (Video)
From TMZ:
Suge Knight just fired a metaphorical shot at P. Diddy … telling us he’s a “bitch ass” who should be getting more heat for the murder of Tupac Shakur.
Suge was leaving 1Oak last night when he unleashed a rant about Tupac’s death, saying … “Everybody know off the top, I ain’t the n**** killed Tupac. I’m the n**** protected Tupac!”
Then he points a finger directly at Diddy — “Bitch ass Puffy can get him a mutha******* star, and every rat in the world say he’s the one who killed Tupac, or had him shot.”
You gotta hear Suge go in even more on “rats” in general … and Diddy in particular.
As for why no one’s been charged in ‘Pac’s death — even though an inmate confessed in 2012 — Suge’s explanation is simple … “Tupac’s not dead!”
Top Dawg Responds To Suge Knight
Yesterday, TDE’s CEO Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith caught wind of Suge’s recent comments (he stated that The Game and Top Dawg’s own Kendrick Lamar has slave-style record deals, among other things) and said if Suge can provide proof of his claims, he’ll sell him the label for a buck.
TELL SUGE I SAID IF HE KAN SHOW ME 1 CHECK WE PAID 2 INTERSCOPE OFF OF R TOUING..ILL SELL HIM TDE 4 $1, NOBODY GETS SHIT OFF OUR TOURS. #TOP
Suge Knight Claims That Kendrick Lamar & The Game Have “Two Of The Worst Deals” In The Industry
From BET:
In the second installment of BET.com’s exclusive interview with record executive Suge Knight, the former Death Row Records CEO clarifies comments he made about Kendrick Lamar and Game having two of the worst deals in the industry, during his recent appearance on the Arsenio Hall Show.
“[All I was saying was] it’s not fair for two n****s from Compton to be gettin’ f****d, and it’s not good for me to have knowledge and not pass it on to them,” said Suge. “It wasn’t about putting them as men down or as artists down, it was about putting the person who’s in control down, saying ‘How are you f****ng over these dudes from Compton when they’re making a difference for your company?'”
Suge also dropped knowledge on how record labels have changed their deal structure in recent years to include a significant portion of the money from artists’ live shows.
“Not only do these companies get the royalties and the publishing, if [the artist] do a show and $100,000 come in, the manager gets 20 percent, now it’s $80,000. Kendrick gets half, the record company gets half, which is ridiculous,” Suge pointed out.
“If you can’t live off your tour money how can you survive by being a slave [to the record contract],” Suge questioned. “Prince was able to survive being a slave because he was able to tour. If Prince had a deal like these new guys, where the record company gets half of your tour money, Prince would’ve been f****d.”
Suge Knight’s Ex Has Written A Tell-All Book…
So Suge Knight is the next Hip-Hop participant up for a novel exposé thanks to a woman that was probably supposed to be his true confident as a wife fiancée….
Stormey Ramdhan’s My Life With Knight: The Woman Behind The Most Feared Man In Hip-Hop breaks down the two decades that she spent around Suge Knight during his rise and heyday, and she apparently has some strong opinions on how Suge ran Death Row, how he treated those around him, the death of Mr. Shakur and more.
You can check out the book’s cover above, as well as a promo video and a teaser excerpt below. Will you be looking to read this?
It’s the summer of 1993; as a recent graduate of Crenshaw High School and at a point I was looking forward to leaving for North Carolina on scholarship, you could not have told me that my life would have changed before that even happened …
It’s just getting dark and he didn’t call yet. I’m in the front room of the house on Cadillac Boulevard watching TV with my little brother Alfey when the phone rings, it’s him! Suge wanted to know my address; I told him I’m off Cadillac and Robertson. It took him 10 to 15 minutes to get there. He pulled up in a new Black Mercedes SL 500 convertible with the top down, blasting music… Suge’s homeboy, Heron was in the passenger seat. So I thought, “That’s who went in my place,” but I couldn’t get mad; we had just met several hours earlier. To my surprise Suge was a total gentleman, I invited him in my house, my little brother Alfey greeted him at the door, while my mom Patty yells from the kitchen, “Who is at the door?” I reply “Mommy it’s my friend Suge.”
Suge Knight On ‘Arsenio’; Speaks On Weed Dispensary Altercation
Suge Knight wants to make things as clear as possible, so he explained exactly what went down at the pot shop.
Suge Knight Attacks Weed Dispensary Owner (VIDEO)
From TMZ:
Suge Knight punched a guy hard at an L.A. pot dispensary … and we got the surveillance video.
Suge got angry at an employee … allegedly threatening to kill the guy …. after the rapper was told to leave because he didn’t have a medical marijuana card.
When you watch the video, things start out friendly enough inside the pot shop — called Medstar Collective — but turn ugly quickly. Suge and the employee walk out and the mogul socks the guy in the jaw without warning … then storms away.
The employee filed a police report and the cops have the video. Suge is being investigated for making felony criminal threats.
Suge’s position — he agreed to make an appearance for cash and weed and they went back on the deal.
Warrant Issued For Suge Knight After Court No-Show
From TMZ:
Suge Knight is now a wanted man … because a judge just issued a bench warrant for his arrest … and it’s pretty ironic, because he was supposed to show up on another warrant that was issued for not showing up.
TMZ broke the story … Suge was pulled over in September for driving without license plates. When he was pulled over cops realized he had an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in another case. Suge was then arrested, hauled off to jail, released and ordered to appear in court today.
Suge was a no-show, so the judge ordered the deputies to haul his butt into court and set bail at $26K.
And history repeats itself.
Cops Draws Guns On Suge Knight In L.A. (PIC)
TMZ reports:
Crazy photo of Suge Knight assuming the position — LAPD officers pulled him over Friday afternoon … with guns out, but we’re told it was all a case of mistaken identity.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ, police had received a report of an assault, and the suspect matched Suge’s description — so when officers spotted Suge in his vehicle … they pulled him over, and jumped out of their patrol car with their guns drawn.
We’re told Suge agreed to go to the police station, where he explained he wasn’t the man they were looking for … in fact, police now believe the initial report of an assault was bogus.
Suge was eventually released … but sources close to the hip hop mogul tell TMZ, he is extremely pissed about the misunderstanding — and is considering filing a lawsuit.
Suge Knight Speaks On Snoop Dogg’s ‘Doggystyle’, 20th Anniversary
A couple of dope excerpts from Suge’s recent interview with Rolling Stone (below). Old habits die hard.
What do you remember most about what went into making Doggystyle?
We were able to make sure [Snoop] didn’t go to prison to make the album. We only had one song done, and then after that it was the [Philip Woldemariam] murder case and the trial. When we got ready to start the trial, $5 million had to be paid to a legal team. And at the time Snoop never sold no records. Jimmy [Iovine], Interscope, those guys were saying they’re not going to participate in trying to help keep him out of prison, because they didn’t think they were capable of doing it. Because of the simple fact that it was a murder case. If he would have got found guilty, he’d have died in prison. He’d have been there the rest of his life. What do you remember about Doggystyle’s production?
[It] was was pretty much luck. Everybody thought [Dr. Dre] would be doing the records, but Daz pretty much did the whole album. And at the end of the day, once Daz finished it, everybody wanted Andre to get the credit. Next thing I know Daz is having a meeting with Andre and them and came back and said, “It’s okay, give me a few bucks and I’ll sign anything over that says produced by Andre instead of me.”“Ain’t No Fun”… one of the homies from The Swans [ed note: the Mad Swan Bloods, or MSB, are a Los Angeles subset of The Bloods street gang] named Pooh, all them dudes already had a record done. And they came and played it for us in the studio. They played us the demo. Everybody looked at it like it was alright. And then after they left, shit, everybody was chopping that same beat.

No motive was given.
Coincidentally, or not, in his deal with the FEDS Henchman admitted giving the order for Tupac’s shooting at Quad Studios in New York.
Jimmy Henchman was recently sentenced to life in prison on drug and racketeering charges.
2 Arrest Warrants Issued For Suge Knight

The above Instagram picture (courtesy of TMZ) was apparently taken in some L.A. club where Snoop was performing. We’ll see if there really were amends made soon enough.
@SugeKnight & Katt Williams (@KattPackAllDay) In Brawl; Reportedly Ran Over Someone With A Car?
C’mon son. From TMZ:
As TMZ first reported, Suge and Katt were involved in a massive brawl last night outside of Eden nightclub in Hollywood. When the dust settled, Suge sped out of the parking lot and nearly ran over several people.
TMZ caught with up a guy who says he was hit by Suge … and had the limp to prove it. The guy didn’t seem upset with Suge, but he was PISSED OFF at Katt, telling us, “Katt Williams is a punk. You talk sh*t and run? You a punk .. You taking all that sh*t, and you talk about you all that, and you run? Because of you, I got hit by the car!”
The guy also says he wants Katt to pay his medical bills …
Speaking of Katt Williams, he was also in the news for (among other things) being charged for child reckless endangerment.
