40 Glocc (@40GLOCC) Sues The Game (@TheGame) For Assault & Battery

You really can’t help but laugh at this story. According to TMZ, not only is 40 Glocc suing because The Game ‘tarnished his thug reputation’, he’s saying (in the lawsuit, which is for unspecified damages) that The Game and entourage initially pulled a gun on him:

40 — real name Lawrence White — just filed a lawsuit against Game over the July 7 incident that took place in front of a mansion in the Hollywood Hills.

According to the docs, filed in L.A. County Superior Court, 40 says he was leaving a party, when he was jumped by Game and Game’s 15-man entourage for no reason.

Game recorded the fight on his iPhone and published the footage to YouTube — under the title, “The Game Beats Up 40 Glocc Whilst Recording on iPhone Full Video.”

In his suit, 40 says the video does NOT show the full story … claiming Game had chased after him with a gun … and shouted, “Freeze or I’ma shoot, n*gga.”

Game (@TheGame) Renames Next Album

After going through two titles, (Soundtrack To Chaos and F.I.V.E.) Game is now naming his fifth album, Jesus Piece. Game sits down with VIBE and tells them why he renamed his album:

“Trey Songz came with his album Chapter V, and of course 50 had 5 (Murder by Numbers), I just felt like I should jump off that wagon. So I went back into the studio and started doing songs that leaned more towards the title. I think people gon’ appreciate the concept once they hear the music.

I’m a Christian but I’m not ‘holier than thou’. Jesus Piece gives me an opportunity to speak about situations that people like me who love God but are still street and still wanna remain themselves without going the Pastor Mase route. It gives the opportunity to know that it’s somebody out there that feels them.

You can still have swag and be a Christian, you ain’t gotta wear a suit to church, you ain’t gotta take a bath in Holy water. You can still have your Ciroc in the club, it’s just a faith thing and making sure you try to do right. I’m still a father, I still smoke, I still rep Compton, I still might shoot dice or have a fight if I have to defend myself

I wanted this album to supersede what The Documentary did lyrically. Every time someone walks into the studio and listens—from Wayne, to Ross to Khaled—everybody says ‘that’s the Hurricane.’ That makes me feel like I’m the old Game again. I’m just happy because I was able to find that creative space. I’m having fun.”
