MAC MILLER’S BLUE SLIDE PARK TOUR PRESENTED BY MOUNTAIN DEW®
Staying true to a tradition of supporting up-and-coming artists and life being different on the mountain, Mountain Dew® announces a new partnership with the one and only Mac Miller. With his hotly anticipated debut Blue Slide Park out today, Mountain Dew is pleased to present Mac’s first headlining US tour, which will feature 35 shows in 32 cities this Fall.

The sponsorship will include branded promotional items at every show, a remix release on the Mountain Dew record label Green Label Sound. Dubbed an “internet sensation,” by Rolling Stone and featured on XXL Magazine’s Freshmen Class 2011 cover feature, even before his official debut, Mac Miller has built up a loyal fan base and won critical acclaim. “Mac brings such passion to his work – he works directly with fans, adds a ton of creativity and positive energy to all he does – simply put is one of the most exciting artists out there,” said Brett O’Brien, vice president of marketing for Mountain Dew. “
He is a great fit for Mountain Dew and Green Label Sound. We’re excited to work with him and share his music with DEW Nation.” Mac described his excitement working with Mountain Dew, “I’ve seen how Mountain Dew supports young artists. We’ve been trying to work together again for years and when this tour came up it seemed like the perfect opportunity.” Last March, Green Label Sound also asked Mac to play their official SXSW showcase with Chromeo, The Cool Kids, Classixx and Theophilus London. This Autumn, fans will have access to an exclusive free remix of The Cool Kids’ “Penny Hardaway” byMac Miller via Green Label Sound. Stay tuned for release details on that remix and more on greenlabelsound.com. Keep up on facebook.com/mountaindew for additional content throughout the tour.
