Yep, people still pay this man, the creator of some of the greatest songs in Hip-Hop (I’m damn serious here people), to perform at shows. Check it out:

DC celebrity-favorite Eden will be throwing their monthly 90′s themed soiree on Saturday, March 31st with special host rap legend Artis Leon Ivey Jr. aka. Coolio. Most famous for his song “Gangsta’s Paradise” from the film Dangerous Minds, the 90′s headliner will be mingling with Eden partygoers decked out in flannels, jean jackets, Dr. Martens and other gear from the famous decade.

This March, Washingtonians will be taken on Coolio’s “fantastic voyage” to the magical last decade of the 20th century. Club-goers are encouraged to dress in 90′s apparel, so the usual dress code at Eden will be lifted for one magical night. Eden is located at 1716 I Street NW Washington, D.C. For table or reservation, visit www.edendc.com or call 202.403.4343. Doors open at 10pm and the event is ages 21+.
