UPDATE: An arrest has been made in the carjacking of R&B singer Bobby Valentino in Midtown Atlanta Tuesday night, according to Atlanta police.

Authorities say Wilson and witnesses identified one suspect and the man was taken into custody. The man’s identity and photo has not been released while police are still looking for the second suspect. – AA

Police are investigating a carjacking involving a high-profile R&B singer in midtown Atlanta.

One person was arrested after the singer’s Bentley was taken at gunpoint on Tuesday night, Atlanta police told Channel 2’s Ryan Young.

Police said Robert “Bobby” Wilson, better known by his stage name Bobby Valentino, came out to his car on 14th Street and Spring Street when two males approached him with a gun and carjacked the singer.

Police said an arrest has been made and Valentino’s car has since been recovered.
