Spotted on In Touch Weekly:

Amidst birthday celebrations and a performance at the Governors Ball this weekend, In Touch can reveal that Kanye was hard at work shooting what he hopes will become a viral video to promote his new album, Yeezus, due out on June 18.

The theme of the video is none other than the family friendly motif of American Psycho.

“Kanye spent the weekend shooting an American Psycho-inspired video in Brooklyn with Scott Disick and Jonathan Cheban,” an insider tells In Touch. “Jonathan (pictured below) actually gets killed in the end.” The video, which was shot at Brooklyn Fireproof soundstages, is supposed to be released later this week in anticipation of his new album. “Kanye wants the video to go viral and drum up more publicity for his album,” the insider reveals.

UPDATE: Pacman Jones Arrested For Punching Woman (Video)

UPDATE: Of course, the footage (above) surfaces (from TMZ). And it ain’t good.

Pacman insists he was merely “protecting himself” during the Wednesday night altercation outside of a Cincinnati nightclub … and judging from the video, it seems the woman made the first aggressive move.

The footage (around the 1:55 mark) shows a woman reaching over to Pacman with what appears to be a drink in her hand. It seems the woman poured her drink on Jones … and he reacted by unleashing a punch to her head.

From USA Today:

Prosecutor Charlie Rubenstein confirmed Monday that Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones was arrested on one count of assault for punching a female patron outside of a bar.

Earlier Monday, Jones announced on Twitter he had been arrested, probably in an attempt to provide his account before the Cincinnati Police or possible witnesses provide their versions.

Jones claimed he was acting in self-defense, an account his agent, Peter Schaffer, also provided to USA TODAY Sports by claiming Jones hit a woman in the face after she might have thrown a beer bottle at his head.

“Just got arrested for protecting myself,” Jones wrote on Twitter. “I will not let this break me or change what I have work so hard for …”

Schaffer said Jones was to turn himself in to police Monday.

Schaffer said Jones was standing outside of a bar on Wednesday night after the Cincinnati Reds’ game against the Colorado Rockies when he was approached by two women who wanted to take a picture with him. Schaffer said Jones told them no “because he’s married and the last thing he wants is a picture with two women showing up on Twitter or something.”

Schaffer said Jones told him he was then hit in the head with a bottle from only a few feet away.

“He turns around and immediately slaps the person. He has no idea what’s going on or who threw the bottle,” Schaffer said. “His teammates have enough of this and they walk out.”

Schaffer said he’s spoken to witnesses who have corroborated Jones’ story and that he’s hoping to get a copy of the bar’s security video.

Police have yet to issue a report on Jones’ arrest.

This is the third time since October 2010 that Jones has been involved in an off-field incident in Cincinnati.

Freddie Gibbs Has No Respect For Young Jeezy

Jeezy-Freddie-Gibbs

The below excerpt was taken from Freddie Gibbs interview with XXL, and it wasn’t pretty when we came to the subject of CTE:

Has life after CTE been good for you?
Life after CTE…life been good. Before CTE and after CTE. I never took a dollar from cus anyway. It ain’t never been about life being good. My life been the same. I’ve been the same nigga. I’ve been doing my thing. Still been feeding my niggas. Still been feeding my family. Like I said, I never took a dollar ever from Jeezy in my life. Everything been on my grind and my hustle. I put BFK (Baby Face Killa) out myself with no support from Jeezy. I shot and did videos myself with no support from Jeezy. Like that it matters. Like I said, I got my own core, my fanbase. At the end of the day, I been my own man.

This album is going to be definitive of that fact. It’s going to show people, ‘Look, I didn’t need cus, cus needed me.’ I was bringing something to the table at CTE. I don’t need CTE. I went to CTE because I fucked with CTE. Because I had love for what cus had. It was a genuine love, that’s why I went over there for nothing. ‘Man look, let’s partner up. Let’s do this.’ I fucked with you. I respect you. Now, that respect is gone.

Was Jeezy supportive of you doing your own thing?
Fuck no. Anything he tells you, it’s going to be fake. I am going to give you the real. He gonna give you the sugarcoated version. That’s the difference between me and him. He gonna give you the sugarcoated shit, I am going to give you the real. At first, when that whole split happened, I was being political about it. I was thinking, ‘Man, I don’t want to fuck up my relationship.’ But fuck that shit, my nigga. I’m feeding the whole city. That nigga don’t do shit for me. I am going to point a nigga out when he bogus and he was bogus for not owing up to his business relationship and doing what he was supposed to do business-wise. Like I said, I never needed the nigga to do nothing for me, but do what you said what you were gonna do. You don’t hold true to your word, I don’t respect you. So I don’t respect no nigga that don’t hold true to his word. All that shit you rapping; I don’t respect none of that shit.

UPDATE: Judges Get Egged By Woman On Britain’s Got Talent; Woman Speaks On Incident

UPDATE: Natalie Holt has actually responded to (and apologised for) the egg-throwing incident in The Guardian. You can read that response on the next page.

****************************************

From KHOU:

Simon Cowell was hit with a series of eggs during Saturday night’s live finale of “Britain’s Got Talent” — a surprise apparently for everyone on the show. It wasn’t part of the act.

Richard and Adam Johnson were singing an operatic version of “The Impossible Dream,” when a woman got out of her seat and started pelting eggs at Cowell, who was sitting alongside fellow judges Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden and David Walliams. The woman was a viola player named Natalie Holt, who was a contestant on the show last season.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, “Britiain’s Got Talent” released the following statement: “Natalie Holt (age 30) was part of the backing group for their performance, and as a result of her misguided actions the police were called. However, we have decided to take no further action at this stage.”

The eggs hit Cowell, who ended up having to change his jacket. He took to Twitter after the incident, saying he didn’t “even like eggs.”
