A new video I spotted on Yung Gleesh’s twitter page. If I’m correct, Eddy Niz is a teenage Tennessee rapper who puts a Southern spin on what would normally be NY-tinged sensibilities. Eddy spits simply punchlines and squabbles bars over jazzy beat that sounds like both a 90’s throwback and a stripped-down FL-Studio track. He sports a clear ASAP influence on his Reverb Nation page but this is a rare time where an inspiration like that works well, because Eddy Niz shows his originality just as well.
