Dennis Rodman continued his stay in North Korea, where he celebrated dictator Kim Jong Un’s birthday with an emotional rendition of ‘Happy Birthday’ before an exhibition basketball game between a group of American players and a team of North Koreans.

“It’s a very historical day for everyone in the world to see if we can co-exist with each if we take a deep breath and absorb how we look at certain things, so I think it went very well for everyone involved,” he told Sky News afterwards.

“I questioned whether we were doing the right thing because of the media scrutiny and it was important to stand strong and follow up and follow through and it all just worked out,” former NBA player Charles D. Smith added.
