Rihanna Cries On Stage In Lille, France

While performing at Grand Stade Lille Metropole, Rihanna got a little choked up, expressing her appreciation to her fans for putting her on that stage:

Thank you so much. I can’t believe this sh-t. Y’all make me so happy, this is everything that matters to me. And to stand here and feel the love in this room throughout this entire tour…It’s coming to the end of the tour and it’s sad. I hate saying ‘Goodbye.’ You guys showed me so much love in this room tonight. I love you guys.

UPDATE: JAY Z & Beyonce Attend Trayvon Martin Rally In NYC (Video)

UPDATE: Additional footage included below.

News reports state that Beyonce has gone even further by joining the Trayvon Martin Foundation. From the words of Al Sharpton, who explained it best……additional pics below as well:

Jay Z and Beyonce said they didn’t want to speak and they didn’t come for a photo op. Beyonce put a beautiful message up on Instagram. Let me tell you, that before a lot of you were down, Jay Z always supported us.

Jay Z told me, ‘I’m a father. Beyonce is a mother.’ We all feel the pain and apprehension — the laws must protect everybody, or it doesn’t protect anybody. We do not come from hate, we come from love of children.

Trayvon Martin had the civil right to go home that day.

Adrian Younge – Out Da Box Radio Interview; Speaks On JAY Z Sampling His Music

Adrian Younge - Out Da Box Radio Interview by Out Da Box Radio on Mixcloud

Out Da Box Radio is happy to bring you our latest interview featuring the accomplished music producer/composer “Adrian Younge”. I recently got the chance to chat with Adrian on a number of topics, including how he got his start in music, making the transition from sampling to live instruments, living in the digital music age and the significance of album art to music. He also took the time to speak on his original music that was recently sampled by Jay-Z for the “Magna Carta Holy Grail” Album and how Jay initially got a hold of the sample. Progressing through the interview, Adrian also took a moment to speak in-depth about his collabo album with Ghostface Killah (Twelve Reasons To Die) and his thoughts about producer Apollo Brown, although admitting he hasn’t yet been able to hear the Apollo Brown version of the album. Nearing the conclusion of the interview, Adrian also took some time to give insight into his recent work with lead singer “William Hart” of “The Delfonics”, and how the soulful collaboration came together. There’s so much insightful information in this interview to keep your attention, I certainly believe you will appreciate it. I had a great pleasure building with the brother “Adrian” and I wish him all the best in his future endeavors. Please take the time to listen to our in-depth radio interview with the man himself and definitely feel free to leave a comment and spread the word if you like what you hear. Enjoy!

Rae Dawn Chong Calls Oprah A ‘Field Nigger’, Releases Video Response Shortly After

I’ve been avoiding this one, simply because of how sad it is in the first place, but alas, here you go (from TMZ):

Oprah Winfrey’s former “Color Purple” co-star Rae Dawn Chong just UNLOADED on the talk show queen — claiming O is a self-centered fat “biotch” who would have been a “field n**ger” back in the slave days.

Rae Dawn — who’s part black — appeared on “Matty P’s Radio Happy Hour” and talked about how her personal relationship with O went from good to really REALLY bad back in the 80s (audio above).

RDC says Oprah was “lovely” to her back on the set of Purple in 1985 … but when Rae moved on to her next movie, “Commando,” that’s when she says O became “a total biotch.”

“I starred in Commando. And she just wasn’t having me. She’s competitive. She didn’t like me. She just wasn’t having me.”

It’s clear, Rae doesn’t like O either — ’cause for the next several minutes of the interview, she ranted on and on about how much she hates Winfrey — and stooped so low, she even took shots at her appearance and invoked slave imagery.

Following this, Rae Dawn Chong released a response video (to save face without apologizing, apparently), which you can check out below as well (courtesy of TMZ):
