In a surprise move, Converse links Kevin Gates with well-known British DJ/Producer Rustie for an Electro-Rap jam.
4Bidden – Shogun, Salvation
4Bidden leaks two new tracks; Shogun” which is eerie and more Grime-oriented and “Salvation” which is upbeat and more like “Future Bass.”
GoldLink Joins SBTRKT’s Album Tour
4Bidden – Sky Grid
4Bidden really puts the “Future Bass” in Future Bass. 4Bidden makes better Grime when he doesn’t even make Grime. 4Bidden is Swedish so of course he’s talented. Fuck it, just listen.
Diplo – As I Lay Dying
Thanks to Rolling Stone We get to hear a 10-year-old Diplo track that was cut from Florida, his critically acclaimed 2004 debut album. Halfway between Trap and RJD2, “As I Lay Dying” sounds both modern and old in ways only Diplo could pull off. On the 10-year-anniversary of Florida, the album will be re-released with more never-before-heard tracks from the studio session, including a remix version of “Into The Sun”, which you can also hear above.
Caribou – Our Love (Video)
Indie darling Caribou release the “Our Love” Video. Director Ryan Staake said this about the project;
In “Our Love”, I wanted to create a slow, brooding film that contrasted the seeming limitless of youth with the reality of death in later years. The film (which was photographed by Luca Ciuti) was shot on location in Ireland, at the beautiful Lough Ine House, about an hour and a half outside of Cork.
Yelle – Latest Single – Bouquet final
A snobby electronic pop song dripping with snootiness. Still catchy, let the music speak for itself.

Amilcar – The Seasons (Sango ReFix)
Although this is being labelled as the original version, its unclear whether Chicago rapper Amilcar’s “Seasons” is a Sango remix or not. Either way its a great introduction to Autumn from an artist not too many are familiar with. Enjoy.

Rusko – Lytah
Thump premieres a new ’90’s Rave-style track from Rusko who said this about his latest tune; “While listening to “Lytah” you should play air piano, sing along and pretend you’re in a field in the 90s with glowsticks in your hands.”

4Bidden – Ghost Rocket
One of my favorite grime producers (no exaggeration) drops a new track and expands upon his signature sound. “Ghost Rocket” is a new track off of an upcoming demo from the elusive producer.

Skream – Filth (DarkElixir Bootleg Remix)
I don’t think I’ve ever posted anything by DarkElixir on this site. He’s a great DJ and producer, and probably doesn’t get enough credit alongside people like Crizzly for doing the “Trap” sound before it was called and before it sounded terrible. Unfortunately he’s retiring and selling off the last of his equipment, which is a huge disappointment. He still has one last remix to drop. A bootleg mix of an old Skream tune “Filth”. Apparently he’s offered the download for free. I’m having trouble downloading it but hopefully that’ll work itself out.
Figure – Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Remix) (Cowabunga VIP)
Figure Drops his “Cowabunga” VIP mix, which relies heavily on sampling the actual TMNT theme as opposed to the video game version. Figure title the track “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Remix)” in the hopes that it would reach a larger audience. Enjoy
Skream – Suspension (Edit)
Skream drops a new Techno track that he’s been tinkering with. Off-kilter and menacing, read more from the guy himself;
New Techno track I made recently….
I havent put the full thing up as I noticed ‘Still Lemonade’ in some tracklists..Even though it had tags lol…If you’ve seen me recently you may have heard this track in my sets..
Definitely a harder one.
Enjoy
Dr. Ozi – Mental Giant
Magnetic Mag just premiered this crazy Dubstep track from Canadian Electronic duo Dr. Ozi. As MM writer Matthew Meadow pointed out, the sampled chops and vocal jabs have a Pogo feel to them, making the track a little bouncier than typical Dub. Definitely worth checking out…
DeadExit – Snake (Final Version)/Murder Tune
A year after the track was played on various radio mixes, remixed by the biggest names in Dubstep and partially leaked, DeadExit (now a duo, formerly a trio) finally releases the full version of the monstrous track “Snake.” The DnB/Trappy Dub track “Murder Tune” is the b-side. Hopefully we’ll get to hear some remixes soon too. Buy link in the Soundcloud player.
MINI-REVIEW: Two Tracks From An Upcoming Rusko EP
Thump premiered to new Rusko tracks over the weekend from an upcoming EP. While the tracks had Rusko’s typical bounce and funky feel to them, the veteran DJ and producer has managed to move past limitations like genre and BPM to create some crazy new tunes. “Rusko’s Theme” and “My Style” are great examples of likeable Dance music that is bass-heavy and a little poppy with elements of jazz and 8-bit as well. Enjoy and keep an eye out for an upcoming Rusko EP. “Rusko’s Theme”, an ode to vintage video games, isn’t to 8-bit to be danceable and “My Style” sounds like a Trap track at first…but then horns and wobbles come in, turning it into something else.
Tittsworth Feat. Q-Tip, Theophilus London & Alison Carney – After The Dance
This is dope. Producer/DJ Tittsworth drops a new track featuring Q-Tip, Theophilus London and (JUKEBOX:DC favorite) Alison Carney. Check it out below.
