M.O. drops September 30th.
Azealia Banks – Count Contessa
So, for whatever reason, Azealia Banks has decided to release the first single to her sophomore album Fantasea II: The Second Wave (which drops July 11th of next year) before her debut album Broke With Expensive Taste has even been released. Alright.
Four Tet – Parallel Jalebi
Aside from producing famed Syrian singer Omar Suleyman’s upcoming album this fall, Four Tet has a solo LP also on the way. The soulful “Parallel Jalebi” is the second leak from Beautiful Rewind, which still has no release date.
@ZedZilla1 – Time 2 Eat (Mixtape)
CMG’s Zed Zilla drops his highly-anticipated mixtape, Time 2 Eat. Features from Yo Gotti, Shy Glizzy, DJ Paul, Kevin Gates, Lil Lody and more. I also just found out today that Zed also did the beat for “Got It On My Own” (Featuring Yo Gotti & Shy Glizzy), which is impressive.
Drake x Jay Z – Pound Cake/Paris Morton Music 2
So I guess Drake’s album has hit the net early and here’s the last song on the album with Jay Z. You can preorder Nothing Was The Same now (which drops September 24th).
Christian Rich – Supaman ft. RZA
A new song produced by the duo Christian Rich where the brothers get RZA for a feature. The two are fresh off of producing some of Earl Sweatshirts better known songs from his album Doris.
Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball” Sounds Identical to “Locked Out of Heaven” by Bruno Mars
Producer/Soundcloud user Bitman explains why Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball” and Bruno Mars’ “Locked Out of Heaven” are virtually the same from a musical standpoint (and mashes the two songs to prove it). Its not that amazing that two pop songs are very similar, but still worth noting.
The songs are both in D minor. Miley Cyrus song “Wrecking Ball” mixed with “Locked Out of Heaven” by Bruno Mars. Same chorus, different applications of triplets in melody in form, otherwise almost identical. No same producers, no crossover between personnel at all (as far as digging on Wikipedia has shown). New Miley album drops Oct 4th with this as one of the main tracks. Bruno Mars’s song came out last October. I see a pattern.
Pop music isn’t really much more than nursery rhymes with adult undertones and studio production. Wisen up, people.
@LILBTHEBASEDGOD – G.O.R. (God Of Rap)
Lil B drops a ten minute song that will be on his upcoming mixtape 05 Fuck Em, with 3 different beats.

SBTRKT – IMO
SBTRKT dropped a new song today on his twitter page, saying “p.s its not a ‘single’/ planned campaign/ album promo hype thing. just music i want to share.” The track heavily features synths and 808 drums, with a dreamy melody.
Johnny Cinco (@1JohnnyCinco) – TGTWYNM
Street Executives’ artist Johnny Cinco has been making waves around Atlanta with “TGTWYNM” also know as “They Gave the Wrong Ni***a Money”. The catchy song (produced by Will-A-Fool) dropped last month but most people (me included) just caught up. This track has me thinking the guy will be going places..
Young Dolph – Thru The Roof
Some new Young Dolph that Lil Keem premiered in his Hoodrich Freshmen List mixtape. I hope Dolph changes up the song structure soon…
Did Anybody Notice The Gucci Mane & Marilyn Manson Collab On Gucci’s New Mixtape?
So none of y’all noticed this shit, huh? “Marilyn said pussy wet and I want pussy raining“? “Bitch I want to see your cameltoe (that’s Manson’s line, by the way)”? I’ll just let you guys listen to it…..FADER has the history on the song as well.
Oh yeah: Diary Of A Trap God is out now; unfortunately, Gucci Mane probably isn’t.

Video: “Lean With The Sprite” – Yung Simmie
B.R.K. all day!! Love the vibe. Love the rhymes. Love the Raider Klan. …Not everything, but way too much of what they put out is too dope to deny.
Raider Klan member Yung Simmie‘s “Lean With The Sprite” is one of those tracks you WILL like. Regardless what you preconceptions are. …The flow is too ill.
Posted the song before, but this is the video. If you’re new to Yung Simmie or The Raider Klan, they’re every bit worth the listen. Old school – new school Three-6 Mafia feel. Hardcore raps. Gangsta shit… done with class. Posted the new video for “Lean With The Sprite” below. Enjoy…

BONUS: Here are my other 2 favorite Yung Simmie songs/vids.
Also, if you’re unfamiliar with B.R.K. aka the Black Raider Klan, check out this dope article I wrote a while ago called “A Rebelled Souls Guide to the Raider Klan”. As a collective, I think their the illest underground rap clique out right now. Making serious moves and even performed at Coachella this past year. Wasn’t all that into them at first, but trust, they grew on me. Now I’m a huge fan. (Click on the picture below for the article)

Video: “Batches & Cookies” – Lizzo ft. Sophia Eris [LIZZOBANGERS]
Wow… Not something you see everyday, that’s for sure. … But damn, I enjoyed this (and my whole discovery of Lizzo‘s music in general). It’s in your face and slightly off kilt, but it works.
“Batches & Cookies” is one hot song with a lot of low-key really dope lyrics. Lizzo is an animated female MC with a lot of character, which shows through in this entirely fun and creative video. I’ve watched it quite a few times already. And the closer I listen to her lyrics, the doper I realize she is.
Great first single from her upcoming [LIZZOBANGERS] album, dropping 10/15 via Totally Gross National Product. Which from what I’ve heard so far, is quite the eclectic record. She has sort of like a punk feel to her music, with instrumental influences that stretch from progressive rock, Texas trill, indie electro pop, to southern diva R&B. Good ish to say the least.
Anyways, thought Lizzo was a pretty good find, so decided to post. “Batches & Cookies” being her debut music video. Enjoy…
(Sidenote, …I really…really…REALLY want that doughnut with the bacon on top. smh… why they do that to me. -_- #fat4life)

BONUS: Another banger by Lizzo. “T-Baby” …Let this one grow on you. It goes in the longer you listen.
“On The Radio” – Mood Blanc
“On The Radio” – Mood Blanc
Didn’t think I was liking this, but I let it jam out because it had a nice instrumental. …Then “On The Radio” turned into something nice. Reminded me of The Police a little bit. 80’s smooth groove. …A great debut song by the new Swedish band Mood Blanc. One of my personal favorites of the week. Enjoy…

Video: “Another Girl” – Wild Belle [Isles]
Been a fan of Wild Belle every since I seen them live opening up for Toro Y Moi back in March. Had never heard of them prior to that day, but I’ve been 100% a fan every since. Its just outstanding music with so much flavor. A little bit of western soul. A little bit of island vibes. And a touch of that same bluesy type rock that the Black Keys are famous for. Its a great sound that I’ve been somewhat addicted to since first listening to them. Natalie Bergman does her thing with those vocals, and her brother Elliot is quite magical with the instrumentals. Especially on that horn! #epic
“Another Girl” is Wild Belle‘s latest video and I think their 2nd or 3rd video from their album [Isles]. Great album by the way. Highly recommended. Its available on vinyl in my store fyi. Definitely check that out. Its a treat with a lot of gems. “Another Girl” being one of my favorites on the album. “Keep You” and “Backslider” being 2 of the others. Posted them all below though. Enjoy…

BONUS: “Keep You” is probably my favorite Wild Belle song off the recent [Isles] LP. Its a fan favorite video. I play it all the time when I do my shows and people love it. So live and so much energy. That island vibe with those horns! smh… Swear I love their sound. Cant beat it! Also posted my other favorite though, “Backslider”. …These stole my heart when I seen them live. So enjoy..

SpaceGhostPurrp – Black Money World
New shit from someone we haven’t heard or seen in a while. You can download the track here.
Skream – Rollercoaster ft. Sam Frank (Jimmy Edgar Remix)
Detroit DJ/producer Jimmy Edgar make’s Skream’s bubble gum hit into a darker, downtempo track. Edgar’s “Rollercoaster” sticks to the dance roots of the original with a synth-heavy beat and some older dubstep sounds to end. By the way, this remix is official, Rinse has made it available for pre-order here.
DJ Mister Cee – 2Pac Tribute Mix
Back with Hot 97, disgraced-yet-still-legendary DJ Mister Cee decided to throw on some classic Pac on the anniversary of the rapper’s death.
