New England Patriots’ Rob Gronkowski Mocks Asian Fan (Video)

TMZ Reports:

Maybe New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski hasn’t heard what’s going on with Richie Incognito — because he openly mocked an Asian fan over the weekend, calling the guy “Leslie Chow” … and joking about fried rice.

Gronk was hosting a Q&A with fans in Foxborough, MA Sunday night at Bar Louie Restaurant when people started dancing … including an Asian man sporting a Gronk jersey.

The Pats star acted surprised, and said — into a microphone for everyone to hear — “They told me he could only cook fried rice!” Then Gronk one upped himself by calling the fan “Leslie Chow” … Ken Jeong’s character from “The Hangover.”

At least one person in the group thought Gronk might have crossed a line — because they immediately grabbed the mic and reminded the audience they all signed waivers agreeing to hand over ALL cell phone footage.

Watchdog Ofcom Will Reportedly Monitor Capital XTRA Following Musical Backlash

the-voice-front-cover-november-7-13-2013

From The Voice, where you can read more on the story:

BROADCASTING WATCHDOG Ofcom has revealed plans to listen to audio recordings from Capital XTRA’s new shows before taking a final decision over whether to launch a full-scale investigation.

The body was forced to act after receiving numerous complaints that the station formerly known as Choice FM was not sticking to its format agreement, described as “music and news…for listeners of African and Afro-Caribbean origin in the north London area, but with crossover appeal to other listeners who appreciate urban contemporary black music.”

Capital XTRA launched on October 7 as an “urban dance” station and broadcasts on Choice’s old FM home of 96.9 and 107.1 in London and nationally on the digital platform known as Digital Audio Broadcasting (DAB). It is anticipated that between 2015 and 2019, the Government plans to migrate all AM and FM analogue services to DAB.

But as well as the name change, a number of DJs including Daddy Ernie and Martin Jay were axed and replaced with more dance specialists such as Swedish DJ Avicii. It means there are no shows dedicated to reggae, soca or gospel.

An Ofcom spokesperson said: “Ofcom can confirm that it has received complaints about Capital Xtra’s compliance with the published formats of its licences.

DMX’s Financial Problems Get Worse After Court Hearing

DMX’s finances may be in jeopardy as reports claim a New York judge has rejected his recent bankruptcy filing, which could result in hungry creditors coming after him. According to reports, the rappers bankruptcy rejection went down heading into the weekend.

A federal judge in New York has tossed rapper DMX’s bankruptcy filing, making him fair game for creditors. The Journal News reports that a bankruptcy judge in White Plains dismissed the 42-year-old rapper’s July 29 Chapter 11 filing on Friday. The hip-hop star’s real name is Earl Simmons. The judge’s move means he could lose his possessions including his share in a home in suburban Mount Kisko. (The Hollywood Reporter)

Reports claim X did not provide trustworthy information in the filing.

Simmons’ biggest debt is $1.3 million in child support owed to some of the 10 children he has fathered. U.S. Trustee Tracy Hope Davis said Simmons failed to provide trustworthy information in his bankruptcy filing. Simmons’ publicist Domenick Nati said he was unaware of the court hearing. Lady Gaga Will Perform in Space

While I normally could care less about anything Gaga-related, this is kind of groundbreaking.  According to Rolling Stone, the pop-star will be performing in space for the Zero-G Music Tech Festival at New Mexico’s Spaceport America in 2015.  Huffpost claims “Gaga will perform one song at the crack of dawn (she’ll reportedly undergo a month’s worth of vocal training in order to ready herself for the atmosphere). Gaga intends to travel in a Virgin Galactic ship, and the 27-year-old will also reportedly take out a massive life-insurance policy…”  Some have claimed that she will be the first to perform music in space, but obviously that title should go to Canadian Astronaut Chris Hadfield, who performed a cover of David Bowie’s “Space Oddity” last time he was in orbit.  I’ve included that video below.

The Typhoon Haiyan kills 10,000 in the Philippines

International relief efforts have begun after the Haiyan Typhoon caused huge devastation the Philippines. Its estimated that at least 10,000 people have died. Read more via the Guardian.

According to UN figures more than 330,000 people were displaced by the storm, and 4.3m affected by it.

And some news via Reuters

Super typhoon Haiyan destroyed about 70 to 80 percent of the area in its path as it tore through Leyte province on Friday, said police chief superintendent Elmer Soria.

As rescue workers struggled to reach ravaged villages along the coast, where the death toll is as yet unknown, survivors foraged for food as supplies dwindled or searched for lost loved ones.

“People are walking like zombies looking for food,” said Jenny Chu, a medical student in Leyte. “It’s like a movie.”

Most of the deaths appear to have been caused by surging sea water strewn with debris that many said resembled a tsunami, levelling houses and drowning hundreds of people in one of the worst natural disasters to hit the typhoon-prone Southeast Asian nation…

“We had a meeting last night with the governor and the other officials. The governor said, based on their estimate, 10,000 died,” Soria told Reuters. “The devastation is so big.” More than 330,900 people were displaced and 4.3 million “affected” by the typhoon in 36 provinces, the U.N.’s humanitarian agency said, as relief agencies called for food, water and tarpaulins for the homeless.

Chief Keef Gets Out Of Jail 11 Days Early

chief-keef-released-from-jail

Sun Times reports:

He had been in jail since Oct. 15, when he was ordered to jail for 20 days after testing positive for marijuana. Cozart received one day’s credit from the sentencing judge, while receiving another 10 days credit for good behavior. That means he was behind bars 9 of the 20 days of his sentence.

An hour after he was released, Cozart, known for his Twitter and Instagram feeds, posted a snapshot picture of a text which read “I’m back b—-.”

Cozart was required to undergo random drug testing following a May 27 arrest in Northfield for driving 110 mph in his black 2011 BMW on the Edens Expy.

He pleaded guilty to the charge and paid a $531 fine. He also was ordered to serve 18 months probation and complete 60 hours of community service, in addition to the random drug tests.

Cozart has previously served time in juvenile detention for pointing a gun at Chicago Police officers. He was sent back to juvenile detention earlier this year for a violation of his parole for handling a firearm in a promotional video. This was Cozart’s first stint in the jail, because he turned 18 in August.

Cozart missed an Oct. 21 court date in a child support case he’s involved with while in the jail, but his lawyer appeared on his behalf, Ansari said. He’s scheduled for a court hearing at the Daley Center court complex in downtown Chicago on Dec. 10. The case is one of two child-support cases against Cozart.

Jasmine Woodford, the plaintiff, has accused Keef of contempt for failing to pay the full amount of child support ordered in the case. On Oct. 21, Cook County Judge Mary Trew ordered Cozart to turn over child support funds to Woodford, Ansari said.

According to the child-support suit, Cozart signed a document acknowledging he is the father of a girl born in November 2011 to Woodford.

In June, Cozart was hit with a second paternity suit. The plaintiff, 29-year-old Erica Early, claims Keef fathered her daughter, born on Jan. 28.

Kim Kardashian a member of The Illuminati?

kim2

International Business Times Reports:

After years of rumors, Kim Kardashian has officially confessed to not being a member of the Illuminati… or has she?

In Tuesday, the 33-year-old “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star posted a photo on her Instagram page showcasing the Illuminati’s pyramid, one-eye symbol. The image, which was posted by Kardashian on behalf of her friend Brittny Gastineu’s birthday, shows the twosome posing around and inside of the pyramid image. “Happy Birthday to my best friend @brittgastineau. We’ve shared soooo many memories over the past years! I love you! #RideorDie” said Kardashian.

The image, which had over 195,000 “likes” as of Friday morning, has now been rumored to be in honor of Kardashian’s longtime alleged ties to the rumored secret society known as the Illuminati. According to a report from Gawker, conspiracy theorists claims the Illumaniti is made up of a group of elites who control the planet through manipulation in an effort to establish a “one-world authoritarian government.” Despite years of speculation that Kardashian, her fiance rapper Kanye West, and most recently her daughter, North West, are members of the organization, Kardashian claimed to know nothing about the rumored organization.

“I posted an IG [Instagram] collage for my bff @BrittGastineau & people say it’s the illuminate! What is the illuminate? A religion?… A cult? Not into that sorry!” the reality star posted on Twitter Thursday, later identifying herself as Christian and claiming she utilized the pyramid image only after discovering it in a smartphone application. “It had an eye on it, which reminded me of Britt bc her company “eye on glam” & reminds me of against evil eye bracelets we wear. So sorry guys it was just a cool design I saw on one of those IG collage apps,” said Kardashian.

Gastineau, 29, backed up Kardashian’s claims on her Twitter page Thursday. “People are so crazy they make illuminati rumors. Hello people eyeonglam my site! Get it? Not that deep,” said the former “Gastineau Girls” reality star.

Kardashian last made headlines after announcing her daughter North West’s name in June. According to Twitter conspiracy theorist, the child’s name has Illuminati ties. As stated in a previous report from IBTimes, the direction northwest on a compass points to 333 degrees, which is half of 666—the number of Satan.

Do you think Kim Kardashian is a member of the Illuminati?

Q-Tip: No Diss To Kanye, But F*ck Wearing A Confederate Flag

kanye-confederate-flag

AllHipHop reports:

Q-Tip not only supports Kanye West but also fully believes he’s a new slave. After Kanye’s vocal support of wearing the confederate flag and selling confederate flag-themed merchandise on his Yeezus tour, Q-Tip voiced his disapproval.

Kanye had this to say about wearing Confederate flag with People Magazine below:

You know the Confederate flag represented slavery in a way – that’s my abstract take on what I know about it. So I made the song ‘New Slaves.’ So I took the Confederate flag and made it my flag. It’s my flag. Now what are you going to do?

Man Sues Wife For Having Ugly Children

uglychild2

Cocoafab reports:

Chinese man divorced and then sued his ex-wife for giving birth to what he called an extremely ugly baby girl, the Irish Times reported.

Initially, Jian Feng accused his wife of infidelity, so sure that he could never father an unattractive child.

When a DNA test proved that the baby was his, Feng’s wife came clean on a little secret — before they met, she had undergone about $100,000 worth of cosmetic surgery in South Korea.

Feng sued his ex-wife on the grounds of false pretenses, for not telling him about the plastic surgery and duping him into thinking she was beautiful, The Huffington Post reported.

The kicker? He won. A judge agreed with Feng’s argument and ordered his ex-wife to fork over $120,000.

“I married my wife out of love, but as soon as we had our first daughter, we began having marital issues,” he told the Irish Times. “Our daughter was incredibly ugly, to the point where it horrified me.”

Chris Brown Countersues In Frank Ocean Fight

chris-brown-3

TMZ reports:

Chris Brown is doing what he does best — fighting back … in this case using legal means by filing a countersuit over the Frank Ocean brawl in West Hollywood.

You’ll recall … Chris and Frank got into it outside a recording studio back in January. The building was damaged and Sha’Keir Duarte — Frank’s cousin — claimed he was kicked and beaten by one of Brown’s bodyguards. Duarte sued Chris in August for his injuries.

Now Chris has fired back, claiming Duarte provoked the fight by threatening to kill him. In the countersuit — obtained by TMZ — Chris claims Duarte kicked and punched him.

And get this … Chris — who is currently in rehab for anger management and faces criminal assault charges in D.C. — claims he attempted to avoid the confrontation “with the aggressive and hostile Mr. Duarte.”

Chris says this is a shakedown for $$$, saying Duarte’s demand for $2 million is absurd.

Teddy Riley is suing Lady Gaga

gaga1

Amy Elisa Keith from CoCoaFab reported:

The King of New Jack Swing, Teddy Riley, has sued Lady Gaga for unpaid royalties and fees for the song “Teeth.”

The song was released in 2009 on Gaga’s uber successful Fame Monster album, yet Riley claims that he has yet to receive his due 25 percent of the writing fees for the song.

Riley has filed suit for $500,000 plus punitive damages.

The Fame Monster also features such Gaga hits as “Bad Romance,” “Alejandro” and “Telephone” featuring Beyoncé. The record has sold 1.56 million copies in the U.S. alone. Talk about a lot of $$$!

Riley is known for creating the New Jack Swing sound, along with producing hits for a slew of the biggest and brightest stars in music, including Michael Jackson, Usher, & Bobby Brown. And of course, Riley was also a founding member of hit R&B groups Guy and Blackstreet.
