Move over Marion Barry…Toronto’s current mayor has come clean on smoking crack cocaine (we covered this previously, where it was said that he may have been found doing drugs on camera). From BBC News (where you can read more on the story):
Toronto Mayor Rob Ford has admitted smoking crack cocaine in a “drunken stupor”, despite denying he had taken the drug.
Mr Ford told reporters at city hall he had taken the drug about a year ago but was not an addict.
The mayor has rejected calls for his resignation after the revelation that a video apparently showing him smoking crack was in police possession.
He has defied calls to quit, vowing to run for re-election next year.
“Yes, I have smoked crack cocaine,” Mr Ford said outside his office on Tuesday.
“There have been times when I’ve been in a drunken stupor. That’s why I want to see the tape.
“I want everyone in the city to see this tape. I don’t even recall there being a tape or video. I want to see the state that I was in.”
But Mr Ford maintained to reporters that when he previously denied using the drug: “I wasn’t lying. You didn’t ask the correct questions.”

In the statement exclusively obtained by AllHipHop, Turk claims the Cash Money/Young Money bosses (including Roland “Slim” Williams) and Mannie Fresh did not provide any financial or tangible support on burial of his brother, Ronald Smith in 2010. His father, Tab Virgil Sr recently passed on October 30th from an apparent homicide. Aside from support, Turk alleges to even have an open line of communication with the men he’s worked with since 1996 and known longer:

“He’s going downhill and we want to help him,” Hof said. “I know he’s from Canada, but his fan base is here, so I’d like him to buy American.”
He thinks the singer’s involvement in the Bunny Ranch could make legal prostitution more mainstream and even has a slogan ready: “Be a Belieber in safe sex.”
“It’s a personality-driven business. We want the young demographic he represents,” he said. “We are creating a special Bieber suite that includes posters, and all his albums on the CD player. Plus, all the visitors can take the bedsheet with them.”
It might seem that Beiber’s mostly female demographic isn’t likely to show much interest in visiting a brothel — even one endorsed by the singer — Hof disagrees.
“This isn’t your dad’s Bunny Ranch,” he said. “Ten to 12 percent of our business is from females.”
Bieber’s camp hasn’t publicly commented on his alleged Brazilian brothel visits, and it’s highly doubtful they will comment publicly about Hof’s business proposition.
That’s OK with Hof, who said discretion is a key component to his occupation.
“We have celebrities and politicians in and out of here on a weekly basis, and you don’t hear about any of them being spotted by paparazzi,” he said. “We have private and discreet entrances for them, and we never have to wrap any of them in bed sheets.”

Chief Keef revealed his second baby mama on Instagram a few days ago, who is seven months pregnant and expecting a son.
TMZ reports:
Rapper DMX needs a professional driver to keep him out of jail — he just got arrested … again … for three offenses while driving at the airport in South Carolina.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … DMX — aka Earl Simmons — was pulled over by cops at the airport in Spartanburg, SC and nailed for driving on a suspended license, driving while uninsured, and driving an unlicensed vehicle.
A rep for the Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport says officers noticed DMX as soon as he pulled up to the terminal — and were apparently well versed on his track record.
X is familiar with the suspended license charge — he’s been slapped with that one multiple times. His most recent busts were for allegedly possessing weed (in Aug.) … and an alleged DUI (in July).
DMX is still in custody, and will have to see a judge — with whom he’s probably on a first name basis — before he can get out.
MYFOXNY reports:
NEWJERSEY (MYFOXNY.COM) – There were reports of shots being fired at the Garden State Plaza mall in Paramus, N.J. on Monday night. It reportedly happened about 9:30 p.m. when police received several 9-1-1 calls from the expansive mall.
Police had not confirmed any information but there were several reports on Twitter about a gunman opening fire inside the mall.
The entire parking lot was filled with police cars on the North end of the mall that is anchored by Nordstroms. Video from SkyFoxHD showed people running from the mall.
A worker at a restaurant in the mall tells Fox 5 News he heard shots and mall security told staff to lock the doors. Eduardo Bermudez says everyone started running from the restaurant.
Law enforcement scanner traffic reported a male wearing body armor and a rifle in the mall. Witnesses report a large police presence at the mall.
The Hackensack tactical team was being deployed to the mall, according to police scanner traffic.
Again, law enforcement has not publicly confirmed any details yet.

The official mascot of the Denver Nuggets caused quite a scare before the game started at the Pepsi Center Friday night.
The plan was for Rocky to be lowered in a harness, with a spotlight on him, just before the home opener.
Fans were horrified when a lifeless Rocky was lowered to the center court where he immediately collapsed. The spotlight was quickly turned off.
Rocky was checked by medical personnel before he walked off the court under his own power.
Word from the Nuggets was that Rocky had the wind knocked out of him and would be out for the remainder of the game.
The camera angle during the live broadcast made it appear Rocky was hanging by his neck, but the line went to a harness on his back that was hidden by the mascot’s large head.
On Saturday, the mascot tweeted he was “feeling much better” and hoped to be back in action for next week’s game against the San Antonio Spurs.

In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, Jeezy spoke on a collaboration with Jay Z for his upcoming album. The track was supposed to be on Jay’s Magna Carta Holy Grail. Below, Jeezy tells WSJ how the track came about.
“The idea for their track collaboration, which remains untitled, was hatched in Philadelphia in Timberlake’s dressing room. The two spent four straight hours backstage, sorting out everything from beats to lyrics, talking about the similarities in their backgrounds and the song’s overall theme, “which is to stand tall and continue to conquer the world each and every day,”
UPDATE: Wale has since returned to Twitter, although we have yet to see any response to the reason it was deleted last week (below). Recently prior to the issue regarding Southeast Slim, Wale also exchanged some heated words with Sir Michael Rocks on the social network.

NY Daily News reports:
Larry Dunn admits to police he killed his mistress to get revenge.
“I wanted to make her pay,” Dunn said in a recorded interview with police according to the Dallas Morning News. “Killing her wasn’t on the menu. That’s just how it ended up.”
Dunn, 37, was cheating on his wife with a woman named Cicely Lee Bolden — who in September 2012 told Dunn she was HIV positive.
A week later Dunn went to her home in Dallas to exact revenge, but not before having unprotected sex one last time, the Morning News reported from his murder trial this week

TMZ reports:
Chris Brown met with his probation officer Friday, and he squarely acknowledged he has a BIG problem with his temper … TMZ has learned.
Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ … Brown and his lawyer, Mark Geragos, went to the L.A. County Dept. of Probation Friday afternoon and had an hour-long chit-chat with his new probation officer. It’s unclear to us why a new officer was assigned.
We’re told Brown did not talk about allegedly throwing a punch at a guy in D.C. last Sunday. He did talk a lot about his current stint at a Malibu rehab joint, and the treatment he’s receiving. We’re told that treatment includes a heavy dose of psychological counseling.
As TMZ first reported … Brown could be in the rehab facility for as long as 90 days.
As for whether the Probation Dept. is impressed … we’re told not so much. As one well-placed source put it, “They’re gunning for Chris.”
We’ve learned the Probation Dept. will submit a report to the judge in the Rihanna case next week. The judge could revoke Brown’s probation and if that happens he could get as much as 4 years in State prison.

Pakistan’s interior minister has said the death of Pakistani Taliban leader Hakimullah Mehsud has destroyed the country’s nascent peace process.
“This is not just the killing of one person, it’s the death of all peace efforts,” Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said.
Pakistan has summoned the US ambassador to protest over Friday’s drone strike that killed Mehsud.
It came a day before a Pakistani delegation had been due to fly to North Waziristan to meet Mehsud.
Hakimullah Mehsud was killed a day before Pakistani officials say they were scheduled to send a three-member team to start peace negotiations with the Taliban.
Pakistan’s Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan told a local TV news channel, Geo, that the drone strike was an attempt to “sabotage” Pakistan’s peace talks with Taliban.
But many believe Mehsud’s death will leave the field open for groups that are known to have publicly favoured a rapprochement with Pakistan.
One of these groups is headed by Khan Said Sajna, the successor of Waliur Rehman, a militant commander who favoured talks with Islamabad and once contested the leadership of the Pakistani Taliban. Rehman was killed in a drone strike in May.
What next for Pakistani Taliban?
Mr Nisar accused the United States of “scuttling” efforts to begin peace talks, and said “every aspect” of Pakistan’s co-operation with Washington would be reviewed.Information Minister Pervez Rashid said: “The US has tried to attack the peace talks with this drone but we will not let them fail.”
Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had pledged to talk with the Taliban to try to end its campaign of violence, which has left thousands dead in bombings and shootings across the country.
Mehsud was killed along with four other people – including two of his bodyguards – when four missiles struck their vehicle in the north-western region of North Waziristan, a senior Taliban official told the BBC.
Pakistani media say Mehsud’s funeral has taken place at an unknown location in the tribal area of North Waziristan.
A Pakistani Taliban spokesman, Azam Tariq, vowed revenge, as Pakistan’s security forces were put on high alert.
“Every drop of Hakimullah’s blood will turn into a suicide bomber,” he said. “America and their friends shouldn’t be happy because we will take revenge for our martyr’s blood.”
The Taliban’s ruling council met on Saturday to choose a new leader. Unconfirmed reports say regional commander Khan Said Sajna has been elected to the top job.
As well as Mehsud, the previous Pakistan Taliban leader was killed in a drone strike, in 2009.
