While Portwood Williams thinks highly of Kim K, he is also familiar with how her marriage to estranged husband Kris Humphries turned out.

Mr. Williams also said he has no plans on watching KimYe wed due to the frequency of couples divorcing these days.

Jermaine Jackson Changes Last Name To ‘Jacksun’
Jermaine Jackson decided to change his last name’s spelling to Jacksun, and the judges in Los Angeles have given him the green light. Citing artistic reasons, Jermaine filed the papers in court this past November.
The 58 year old is currently on tour in Europe with his brothers as The Jacksons.

In the blog world, things can get very redundant and boring. With that, WE (the editors and contributors) start complaining about what needs to change and things we think would be dope for the culture without wanting to lift a finger to help push change and creativity. I’ve been guilty of this plenty of times.
While I was getting introduced to a new D.C. artist last night at a dinner meeting, I really began to ponder these “new guys” don’t have a proper platform to get exposure for a CHANCE to get heard. And while everyone has to EARN their place on this hip-hop totem pole, I also have a responsibility in helping with that process. For godsakes, my site is called “YouHeardThatNew”, right lol? So with that said, I present to you guys “#ForTheCity”
With #ForTheCity I’m going on a several month campaign giving UNSIGNED and UNTAPPED artists a chance to be heard on a popular platform but in a unique way. Here’s what I mean by “unique”: I’m going to designate a day out the week for ONE particular city to showcase talent that DESERVES some proper shine. So for example, on Tuesday, February 26th I’m going to highlight Washington, D.C. for the entire day (in addition to the usual stuff you see going on around these parts.) Whether it’s R&B or Hip-Hop, I’m going to give you guys the proper outlet to get out your best material. That trend will continue with another city the next day and so on and so forth. Dope right? Ok so here’s what YOU NEED to do and NOT do.
When submitting your material I NEED these things: #ForTheCity in the subject title, artwork, and your BEST MP3 or VIDEO (Youtube link for the videos) attached, a link to your most recent work, links to your Twitter and/or website, a brief description of where you’re from and a blurb on the content you’re submitting. What you need NOT do is submit via my Twitter TL. If you submit ANYTHING via my Twitter account in regards to #ForTheCity? I will block and report you as spam. Trust me, I have NO problem doing so.
Here’s another intricate piece of the puzzle, on April 22nd I will release #ForTheCity Vol.1, a compliation of all the best submissions hand picked by ME! Cool right? I know. Ok, so I think that covers everything for this new project. #ForTheCity will begin on Tuesday, February 26th at 10am starting with Washington, D.C. Slim Dunkin Murderer Found Not Guilty
Young Vito, was acquitted of murder today at the Fulton County Superior Court in Georgia. But he was given 25 years for aggravated assault and possession of a firearm by a felon. Vito was charged with the killing Slim Dunkin at an Atlanta recording studio in December 2011.

Kris Jenner Wants To Manage Kanye West’s Career?

“Kris has wanted to manage someone of Kanye’s stature and talent for a very long time,” a source close to the family tells Radar. “She feels that it could open even bigger doors for her career, and she is always looking to expand her client base. Kris has told Kanye that she would love to be his manager — even though he has a team in place.
“She said she would be willing to start out representing him in new endorsements and his personal life as it pertains to the reality shows…..Kris reps Khloe’s hubby, Lamar Odom in non-basketball matters. Kanye politely declined though as he is extremely happy with his current manager, agent, etc. Kris took it well, but she will definitely approach Kanye again if she sees an opening.”
However, despite Kris’ tenacity and overwhelming desire to sink her manager claws into Kanye, the rapper is holding fast and won’t be giving in.

20 Teens Arrested, 2 Injured In Mall Riot Following Mindless Behavior Appearance
Looks like the fans lived up to the band’s name…from CBS in Chicago:
An appearance by the boy band Mindless Behavior on Saturday afternoon was followed by a youth disturbance that closed Ford City Mall and left at least two people with minor injuries.
Chicago police say teens became disruptive in connection with the scheduled appearance of the tween idols, but mall officials insisted the two events were unrelated.
John Sarama, senior general manager of Ford City Mall, says members of Mindless Behavior finished their two-hour meet-and-greet with fans around 4 p.m. and left. The “family event” was attended by about 1,000 people, mostly mothers and girls, he said.
Trouble started at 4:45 p.m., he said, when a group of “older youths” entered the mall and started causing trouble by yelling, running and using foul language. There was minimal damage inside the mall, he said.
“We were lucky we had Chicago police on the premises. They observed what was going on. It was their directive to close the mall early,” Samara said.
Witnesses told CBS 2 that fights broke out inside the mall and security was not able to control the situation, prompting police to respond. They say the fighting spilled out into the parking lot, where some vehicles were vandalized.
The Chicago Fire Department said two people, an adult bus driver and a juvenile, were transported in good condition to nearby hospitals, and the CTA temporarily suspended bus service around the mall.
Chicago police said there were multiple arrests, but that offenders likely would be charged with misdemeanors.

This might be the most hilarious thing (and probably the most accurate account of Gucci Mane) that I’ve ever heard. Of course, it’s all still rumor…..
HollywoodLife reports that Selena Gomez and Gucci Mane spent a lot of time getting close in her trailer while filming. From a supposed inside source:
“We thought it was [odd] that she was in there with [Gucci]. One time [producers] sent security to make sure she was OK…It almost became a joke, [another employee] said [to Gucci] ‘Watch out or I’m telling Justin [Bieber].’ [Gucci] was like ‘F–k that lil n—a.”
XXL has already shunned such a rumor so I guess we’ll see (or not).

MC Hammer Arrested For ‘Obstruction’; Hammer Cries Racial Profiling

Hammer was booked and released from Santa Rita Jail in Dublin, CA after he was popped for obstructing an officer in the performance of their duties and resisting an officer.
But Hammer went on Twitter this morning and his version of events is shocking. He claims the encounter started when a cop tapped on his car window and asked him, “Are you on parole or probation?”
Hammer thought it was all a joke until “he pulled out his guns, blew his whistle and yelled for help.”
Hammer summed it all up by saying, “only thing more dangerous than a scared man with a gun, is a scared man with an agenda, a gun and a badge. I was citied for obstruction smh.”

HOAX: Banksy Was Not Captured
There was a press release that made it’s round on the internet; unfortunately, out late asses can’t seem to find it check that out here (or on Jezebel).
Anyways, the press release claimed that world-renowned artist/criminal Banksy was captured recently, and it appears it was a hoax.

There’s a press release making the rounds on the internet this afternoon saying that London police have arrested famed graffiti artist Banksy and revealed his identity.
Don’t believe it — the whole thing seems to be a hoax.
We just placed a call to London’s Metropolitan Police, who confirmed that the Banksy is still safely under cover.
And there are no reports about the alleged arrest on BBC or CNN, which both supposedly covered the story according to the press release on PRLog.Tellingly, the contact address for the release is an email address at the domain name www.iywib.com, a humor site (it’s currently down).
