DAMN: Blac Chyna Savages Rob Kardashian (DETAILS)

D.C.’s own. Obviously, this is probably just for entertainment (and to keep the spotlight on), but it’s hilarious all the same. Just read…from Us Weekly:

Heartbreaking. Rob Kardashian took to Snapchat on Saturday, December 17, to reveal that Blac Chyna had moved out and taken their daughter, Dream, with her along with the contents of the nursery.

The shocking move came shortly after Chyna, 28, revealed that her Instagram account had been hacked and several of her alleged direct messages were posted online. Some of the messages detailed her plans to trademark the Kardashian name after they married next July, others allegedly showed her referring to her fiancé as “fat” and “lazy,” and claiming that she would give him a year and then end things with him.

Kardashian, 29, appeared to have been crying as he posted Snapchat videos showing Dream’s empty nursery and the Christmas tree and decorations set up for his first holiday with his fiancée and only child.

“I’ve got the Christmas tree all set up for Chyna and the baby but they left me,” he said in one of the videos.

“So I get home and Chyna took the baby, took the whole nursery we built,” the Rob & Chyna star continued. “And Chyna took everything that we built for the nursery for the baby Dream and she left, and she just left me alone and took the baby.”

He revealed that she also took all the furnishings from the room that they’d decorated for King, her son with ex Tyga.

“I’m pretty upset and I’m pretty sad because it’s about to be Christmas and I want to be with my baby,” Kardashian added.

Sorry to be so open but I'm not feeling so good after seeing @blacchyna messages about me and what her plans were. I have never been this heartbroken in my life. I don't mind being so open or if anyone thinks I'm being weak but I don't play when it comes to Family and Chyna was my Family and thought we were getting married. I treated her as a Queen. My baby girl is 1 month old and Chyna took her and left this beautiful home that I just bought for us. Right before Christmas. Someone I have given my all too. I Loved every inch of that woman and loved everything that came with her. I truly loved Angela. I gave everything I owned for her. Didn't know I was just part of her plan. I really believed she was in love with me the way that I was with her and I am so hurt and never felt this before. It's different when you have a kid with someone. And after reading Chyna's messages to her best friend she was going to drop me after a year. She didn't even make it to that. I am so broken. This is a woman I fought my entire family for. I was in love with this woman to the fullest and I was none of that to her. Go to my snap—–> @robphuckedme

I thought this was going to be the best year of my life ,,, had a beautiful baby Dream and haven't spent Christmas with family in years and I just can't believe she really hurt me this way. She knows how to hurt me and I loved her so hard like I'm supposed to. Like any man is supposed to love their Wife. Chyna knew exactly what she was doing to get me. I can't believe she did this to me. And this isn't for some ratings this is my real life so please understand I'm just being open right now. Cuz if it was for ratings I wouldn't explain all this here. And with Chyna's messages and her leaving with everything and the baby I am broken. I go 1000 percent for my girl. I am so confused how a man who gives and loves everything about a woman is the one left alone. I'm sorry for being so open once again ,,, this is killing me

PARTYNEXTDOOR Speaks On Fallout With Jeremih

As seen on The FADER, where you can read the full story:

PARTYNEXTDOOR took some time in between songs to address the crowd during his final stop on his
Summer’s Over tour in San Francisco. “I appreciate everybody filling up this room, and standing in this room, and not refunding your ticket, because you want to see a real person,” he told the crowd.

The Toronto singer continued: ” “I might not have the most hits in the game that’s under my name—I might not sing the best falsetto… Everyone knows I’m a real person and I don’t have time for any other fake shit. I can’t do fake shit. I’m not calling nobody fake, I’m just saying.”

Lupe Fiasco – N.E.R.D. (UPDATE)

Lupe Fiasco goes in over J. Cole’s ‘Everybody Dies’ instrumental. UPDATE: Well…a lot has happened since this track was released, from the track being taken down over lyrics (and re-added), Lupe’s deciding to retire and fights with the Anti-Defamation League. The fact that Lupe’s Muslim makes it hard for this to look like anything other than prejudice, but what we do know?

Kodak Black Reportedly Banned From South Carolina

Honestly…we doubt that Kodak Black is in tears over this. What black person that’s not from South Carolina would want to go there in this day and time? From NBC News:

A rapper is banned from the state of South Carolina, except for court appearances, officials say.

Rapper Kodak Black was booked into the Florence County Detention Center on a charge of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, 12th Circuit Solicitor Ed Clements said. No specific details on the arrest were available.

Dieuson Octave, 19, who recording name is Kodak Black, was booked into the detention center at 11:04 p.m. Monday, according to detention center records.

Octave was arrested on drug charges in St. Lucie County, Florida,in August.

Octave pleaded no contest to two misdemeanor drug charges in September 2016 and was sentenced to four months in jail, though he was credited for time spent in custody awaiting trial.

Clements said the only exception to Octave’s house arrest is a previously scheduled concert appearance.

Octave was extradited Monday back to Florence on the outstanding warrant, according to the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office.

If convicted, Octave could face up to 30 years in prison, according to Clements.

Attorney Beattie Ashmore is representing Octave. He said Octave was released on bond Thursday and is back at home in Florida.

Lil Wayne’s Bus Driver Sues Everybody Over Shooting

maxresdefault

From Courthouse News:

Lil Wayne’s former tour bus driver claims in court that he was caught in the crosshairs of a feud when the rapper’s buses were shot by another hip-hop artist.

Alvin Lewis filed a lawsuit in Cobb County State Court on Nov. 16 against rappers Peewee Roscoe, Young Thug and Birdman, as well as Cash Money Records and Young Money Records.

Before the shooting last year, nonparty Lil Wayne performed at the Compound night club in Atlanta. According to the complaint, a confrontation arose between Roscoe’s crew and Lil Wayne’s crew, with Roscoe allegedly saying, “This is my city, keep fucking around and I’ll spray the bus.”

Atlanta police escorted the buses until they left Fulton County, after which Roscoe pursued in his white Chevrolet Camaro and fired multiple shots into the buses, Lewis claims.

“When the white Camaro pulled beside the buses, gunshots were fired at the 12 individuals in the buses, from the white Camaro with a .40 caliber handgun and a 9mm handgun,” the complaint states.

Roscoe, whose real name is Jimmy Carlton Winfrey, was sentenced to 10 years in prison for shooting at the buses on Interstate 285 near Interstate 75.

Before and after the shooting, Roscoe allegedly placed calls to Young Thug and Birdman, whose real names are Jeffery Lamar Williams and Bryan Williams, respectively. Lewis claims neither of them “repudiated Winfrey’s heinous acts.”

Nobody was injured, but the April 26, 2015, shooting caused more than $20,000 in damages to the buses, according to Lewis’ complaint, which says the shooting was gang-related.

Lewis says he “has suffered and continues to suffer substantial and continuing pain, anguish, suffering, discomfort, medical expenses, lost personal and professional property, and lost wages.”

“Defendants placed plaintiff in immediate fear of death and severe bodily harm by attacking and attempting to kill him without any just provocation or cause,” the complaint states.

Lil Wayne, whose real name is Dwayne Carter, was a passenger on one of the buses.

Lewis seeks an unspecified amount of damages for claims of assault and battery, interference with a business relationship and infliction of emotional distress. He is represented by New York City-based attorney Jeffrey Gewirtz.

Representatives for Cash Money Records and Young Money records could not be reached for comment Tuesday morning.

Jamie Foxx Is Making A Series About Marvin Gaye

Spotted on Billboard, where you can read the full story:

After winning an Oscar for playing Ray Charles, Jamie Foxx now is tackling the life story of another musical icon. The Ray star will executive produce a limited series about Marvin Gaye alongside de Passe Jones Entertainment’s Suzanne de Passe and Madison Jones, who will shop it to linear and digital outlets.

“I’ve been a huge fan my whole life. His brilliance in music unparalleled,” says Foxx. “Marvin Gaye’s story has always fascinated me.”

There have been multiple attempts to give Gaye the biopic treatment. The soul singer behind such hits as “What’s Going On,” “Sexual Healing” and “Let’s Get It On” became one of Motown’s most successful artists before he was fatally shot in 1984 at age 44 by his father following a family dispute in their Los Angeles home. F. Gary Gray, Cameron Crowe, James Gandolfini, Scott Rudin and actors including Jesse L. Martin and Lenny Kravitz all have tried to bring Gaye’s story to screen, but until now none had been authorized by Gaye’s family.

Estranged Tourmates PARTYNEXTDOOR & Jeremih Are Beefing (Details)

As of last week, PARTNEXTDOOR and Jeremih were all over the country for their collaborative Summers Over tour, but it looks like the relationship could be over as well. Above, you can see Jeremih pretty much airing out his tourmate and associated camp before attempting to storm off. Since then, it was revealed that JEremih wasn’t performing on a future tour date (below). What the hell happened with these two?

UH OH: Beef Between 21 Savage & Tyga Heats Up (Details)

Last week (and, really, before that), 21 Savage made things pretty clear (above) about his “love” for Kylie Jenner, despite the fact that Kylie is in a very public relationship with Tyga (who also is an enemy of Drake, which is important).

Recently, Kylie took to social media to share Tyga’s remix of 21 Savage’s ‘No Heart’, which definitely throws shots at 21; mainly, the fact that Drake bought the Atlanta rapper a Ferrari. Following this, 21 Savage responded during a performance…all of this can be seen below.

Also: it looks like Meek Mill (another Drake enemy) and even Nicki Minaj is joining in on the fun:

J Cole Drops Documentary, New Track from Album

In preparation of his upcoming album 4 Your Eyez Only, J Cole dropped a 40-minute documetary, “Eyez” and a new video for the diss track “False Prophets.” “Eyez” shows Cole recording in Electric Ladyland studios in New York. “False Prophets” is notable for Cole’s verses presumably about Kanye West, Wale, Drake and Lil Yachty. Cole spends the most time (nearly a verse each) on Kanye and Wale. Cole rebukes Kanye’s recent antics, including his endorsement of Trump while acknowledging Kanye’s recent hospitalization. In his lines likely about Wale, Cole spits of a rapper extremely sensitive to criticsm and deceit. Later in the song, he talks about ghostwriting (Drake) and “Lil Whatever” (Yachty.) You can Watch” False Prophets” below, “Eyez” is at the top of the post.

Check Out What The D.C. United Stadium Will (Probably) Look Like

qldu5vu

Interested to see the latest renderings of the D.C. United stadium (to be located in Buzzard Point)?

We spotted these (above and below) on Black and Red United, who get into some really good details about what’s to come — these were recently submitted to the D.C. Zoning Commission and come mainly thanks to opposition from developer Akridge.

Akridge’s biggest concerns, and therefore the biggest hurdles to the stadium getting finished without further squabbling, were a desire for retail space and a 1st Street that connects with their property south of the stadium. The total amount of retail space is 17,000 square feet, most of which is along the 1st Street side of the stadium. In the picture above, you can see the difference between the added retail space in the first image and the stadium without the retail space in the second image; below, you can see a closeup of what the retail space will look like.

Finally, one of the entrances to the stadium has been moved from the southwest corner to the middle of the stadium across from S Street. This is directly next to the retail shown above, and so a redesign to this entire side of the stadium made sense.

Presumably, the Zoning Commission will approve these at the final hearing come November 28th. If you’re interested, you can check out previous renderings here.

Houston Rapper Mr. 3-2 Shot & Killed

video_image-463282

From VladTV:

Investigators are trying to figure out why someone would shoot local rapper, Christopher Barriere. He was shot in the back of the head at a southwest Houston gas station overnight.

Barriere, known as Mr. 3-2, was a member of Houston’s Screwed Up Click. He was involved with three groups while signed to Rap-A-Lot Records: The Convicts, Southside Playaz and Blac Monks; he released one solo album. He has collaborated on tracks with big stars like Snoop Dogg, UGK, Scarface, 8 Ball & MJG, South Park Mexican and Too $hort.

Houston police say there were four men at the gas station Thursday night, and that the men all know each other. Cops say two of the men went inside the store and one of the men outside pulled out a pistol and shot Barriere in the back of the head. The suspect drove away then came back and shot another victim in the face with a shotgun, also hitting other people who were simply there at the wrong time, according to investigators.

“Unfortunately the shotgun blast, not all the pellets hit its intended target and continued past and struck multiple other targets including another witness who was shot in the leg,” HPD Sgt. Michael Arrington said.

The suspect drove away in a white or gray four-door car. Police are looking at surveillance video and hope that will help them find the suspect.

Muriel Bowser Responds To Trump Win

trump

She’ll also apparently be attending what’s sure to be a hilarious inauguration next January. From DCist:

Listening to President Barack Obama’s remarks earlier today, Bowser said was “heartened to hear” him say, “keep your heads up” because that’s the same thing she told her team, she said. While she’s an “unabashed supporter” of Hillary Clinton and the values that her campaign represented, including “the promise that it would help break a final glass ceiling in our country,” Bowser said, “the people have spoken.”

New Balance Supports Donald Trump Win

nb

Not kidding. From NYMag:

Now that the election is over, it’s pretty easy to tell who was in favor of which candidate (based on your reaction, of course). But we’re not just learning who supported whom — we’re also learning what supported whom. While Hillary Clinton commanded the support of many a fashion designer and influencer during her campaign, it turns out Donald Trump has the support of at least one sneaker company: New Balance. The company’s vice-president of public affairs told a Wall Street Journal reporter that the company felt that the Obama administration turned a “deaf ear” to them, and they feel as if things will “move in the right direction” with Trump.

Trump spoke out heavily against the Trans-Pacific Trade Partnership, or TPP, while on the campaign trail. For its part, New Balance has critiqued the agreement for its impact on business stateside, so it’s little surprise to learn the company is happier with a president-elect who wants to do away with the deal.

So, DC, Maryland and (maybe) Virginia…how are y’all going to act? UPDATE: New Balance has responded…

Young M.A Fires Off Cease And Desist Over ‘Headphanie’ Bottles

cwvresjuqaal5gj

If you hadn’t heard by now, some kids decided to take Young M.A’s now-famous line from ‘Ooouuu’ for a creative spin-off of your favourite cognac, Hennessy. Following growing backlash (by way of appropriation and the creator not getting just due), Young M.A has responded with a cease-and-desist. From VladTV:

According to the “entrepreneurs” Instagram post, they advertised that at least 100 bottles were restocked at a 24/7 Liquor and another liquor store called Sweenys. The Source exclusively told VladTV that the rapper’s team has reached out to both locations and have gotten the bottles removed.

Some fans were outraged after assuming the liquor company was appropriating Young M.A’s success, however, due to all of the commotion online, the Hennessy-loving artist could see a possible endorsement deal with Hennessy pretty soon.

In related news, it also looks like two of the ‘Headphanie’ bottle creators are currently dealing with a rape case.

Trump Hotel Vandalized (Again)

Police recently arrested a couple of vandals for a second hit on Trump’s DC hotel. These two were also arrested for tagging the FBI headquarters and a police car. They may or may not have been involved with the Million Mask March. Nonetheless, they’re in serious trouble.

Wale Sued Over No-Show (UPDATE)

wale_edp

UPDATE: Since TMZ’s report (which you can see below), Wale’s team stated that his ex-manager was actually the one who booked the show and took the money.

From TMZ:

Wale took a bag of money to headline a concert, but dropped a lotus flower bomb on it when he skipped the show and kept the cash … this according to a new lawsuit.

Upfront and Personal Global, the promoters who say they hired Wale for a performance in NYC this summer, just filed suit against the D.C. rapper claiming to have paid him $25k with nothing to show for it come the day of.

In the docs — obtained by TMZ — Upfront shows an alleged signed contract between Wale’s camp and the company, plus 2 wire transfers for $12.5k a piece. They claim after Wale bailed on the show, he went radio silent on ’em when asked for a refund.

Now, they want their dough back — plus interest. We’ve reached out to Wale for comment … so far, no word back.
