Shyne Re-Reneges…

If that makes any sense. You can read the new letter he penned apologizing to L.A. Reid after the jump. Thanks XXL.

A great leader has the unique ability to admit when he’s wrong. Without this ability you suffer the fate of Napoleon and end up dead on your way to Russia.
I was wrong about my assessment of Chairman Reid. After I stopped being all Carl Thomas emotional and things like that, I thought about the facts. Fact is L.A Reid was there when I was locked, a few feet away from death row and the Black Panthers. L.A. was on the visit floor on Rikers Island looking at me through them blinding bars, showing me he believed in that gang boy revolutionary music I make. A bond forged at the nadir of suffering [that’s] unbreakable. That’s why I chose L.A. Reid over all the other distributors. We already went through it. I’ll never forget what L.A. did for me behind that b-wall. Caged like an animal, stripped of all my rights; he gave me freedom— freedom to follow my vision. Freedom to make my momma smile after so many tears and sleepless nights weeping for her baby boy like Rachel the matriarch weeps for the Israelites.
We have to have perspective on the legend [that] L.A. Reid is. 100 million records sold!!! Some of the biggest artists and musicians in the history of popular music have been discovered, mentored or produced by L.A.! Sean Combs and Jermaine Dupri made the biggest hits in music under L.A.’s tutelage. Shyne Po sold almost a million copies from Clinton Maximum Facility with the help of Chairman Reid. Son is one of the best in music—period. More than that, he was the dude that got on the PJ and paid homage to the chief when I was in that cell in them state greens dodging informants and banging on anything that opposed.
I’m loyal to a fault! F#ck it!!! I’m rolling with L.A. “100 Million Sold” Reid ‘til Supreme comes home and runs the rodents outta Queens, N.Y. I’m in it ‘til Sherm “Jonathan Jackson” Worm wins appeal and sits on the throne in Queensbridge. ‘Til Hasan Miller walks out the feds and hops in that four-door Bugatti.
Along with Berry [Gordy], Quincy [Jones] and Russell [Simmons], L.A. Reid opened the door and paved the way for Africans and Latinos to become music moguls and pop culture juggernauts instead of inmates on death row. I pray one day I could discover the next Usher, Toni Braxton, TLC and OutKast; grow the careers of Bon Jovi, The Killers, Pink and legends like Mariah. L.A. Reid has accomplished what most in music never will. Transcending racial barriers before Obama and making music that moves the planet! Put the horse in the bag! If you with me, partner, scream Gangland!!!
“I’m dope boy fresh, Geronimo Pratt. Statue of Liberty sittin’ on my lap, pedal to the floor engine in the back, somebody gotta do it! Mr. Cee light a match!!!

Kanye West & Jay-Z EP Now Full Album

During Kanye’s recap of Runaway, he tells Sway that his Watch The Throne EP with Jay-Z will be now a full length album. No word as to when it will be released, but so far, producers include Pete Rock, Madlib, and Q-Tip.

“We putting out a whole album now. We had done five [songs] so far, but then a few of them kind of were out there, and I put them on my album. Sorry, Jay. But we got some more, and we’re going to the South of France at the end of the month to just record new ideas. But we’ll probably be done with the album in a day.”

Just Blaze Calls Out Joe Budden On Twitter

So this morning, Just Blaze got on twitter and had some words from Joe Buddens after he got word that he used his beat on Mood Muzik 4.

T.I Dodges a Bullet.

According to TMZ , the L.A. County District Attorney has rejected the drug charge from T.I.’s arrest last month. Apparently, there’s technicalities regarding probable cause. Tip will still heading back to prison since the arrest was in violation of his probation.

Kanye West’s Censored iTunes Cover

On Friday night, Kanye’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy hit iTunes for pre-order (which is what led to the tracklisting being revealed) but it was using the “banned artwork.” This is now the cover that they’ll be using to sell the album on iTunes. However, the physical copy of the album will have the ballerina painting from the “Runaway” single (after the jump) and the Deluxe Edition will come with “See Me Now” and the Runaway movie.

Kanye also mentioned in the Q&A with MTV that the track list was not final, that “Mama’s Boy” might be a bonus track and that he was still deciding on “Chain Heavy.” Speaking of that  heavy chain, check out some pics from Kanye’s surprise performance at the Brooklyn Bowl for the Fool’s Gold 3 year anniversary from Saturday night. Best show I have seen in years!!

Jay-Z To Work For Obama ?

According to the New York Post, Jay-Z may replace National Economic Council Director, Larry Summers for President Obama’s 2012 campaign push.

“I can’t believe you’ve finally heard the chatter about him replacing Larry Summers,” Deputy White House Press Secretary William Burton told us. “In all seriousness, keep in mind he was pretty active during the 2008 election, so I don’t think it’d surprise anyone that he would be involved again. But it’s a little premature.”

Martha Stewart Gives Her Opinion On Hottest MCs

Now that the MTV has named the Hottest MCs In The Game Martha speaks on the Mtv’s List and she feels that Eminem deserved the top spot.

“I don’t know if he’s in the game but I think so ’cause he has an album that’s, like, close to the top of the charts. It’s always been Eminem. I don’t know why, but it’s always been. [He’s] huge, huge, huge.”

Martha also gave Mr. West props and recall meeting him at a restaurant.

One day I met him at Nobu uptown. We saw this table full of rapper-type guys and I said, ‘That’s Kanye West.’ And everybody at my table said, ‘Nope, they’re imposters, they’re impersonators.’ And he then walks over and introduces himself and asks if he can come and see me at my office. So he came the next day, by himself, on time, and he had a tour of the office. He wants to brand himself. He’s a big-time guy and he wants to do all those fabulous things. You’ll be seeing Kanye West everything. He’s great.

Bushwick Bill Will Not Be Deported

Last Thursday, Bushwick Bill beat his deportation case and was released four days later from Immigration and Customs Enforcement. In July, the pint sized Geto Boy member was facing deportation for a drug charge two months prior. When XXL asked about a Geto Boys reunion, Bill said:
“I don’t think any of them is interested. I’ve never got the vibe that they would do a gospel song. ‘Cause when they talking about doing another Geto Boys album I said I would do it if I could rap like I’m rapping on my gospel album, I didn’t get a whole lot of cosigning on that from all the political parties concerned.”
