Lil Durk’s Manager “OTF Chino” Killed

Last night, the Chicago Sun-Times reported the death of another Chicagoan on the city’s Southside. What the article didn’t mention was that the man, Uchenna Agina was better known as OTF Chino, a manager for well-known local rapper Lil Durk and the deceased OTF Nunu. AllHipHop confirmed today that Durk’s manager passed away early this morning. Above I’ve posted a segment from Noisey’s “Chiraq” documentary that Lil Durk and his management (including Chino) were featuring prominently in. As Durk put it himself “Violence is everywhere but…we’ve got known Violence in Chicago. They do some of the dumbest shit in Chicago, man. The best thing you can do is just avoid it.” Unfortunately, Agina was unable to avoid the violence. Hopefully a time will come where Chicago’s youth no longer have to face death every day, but that day is not today.

She admitted to being intoxicated and passing out around 2:30 a.m. According to the victim’s friend, Yung Gleesh and his friends arrived at the home an hour later. Lil B’s Neighbor Saves His Life After Duplex Fire

tenw6htmdstjhpy3qvng

Sort of, anyway…to paraphrase, 15-year-old Mateo Ysmael was the first to catch smoke and fire rising in his duplex in Concord, CA, and after waking up his family to make an escape, he then woke up his neighbor as well, who happened to be Lil B.

The family’s neighbor expressed thanks that the teen awakened him and that fire crews were able to control the blaze.

“I’m grateful to be alive,” said 25-year-old Brandon McCart, an aspiring hip-hop artist known as Lil B, who lives in the duplex’s other unit. “If that kid didn’t come knocking on my door …”

McCart said the fire destroyed many of his costumes and some of his music but that most of his property wasn’t damaged.

“I’ve got to thank the Contra Costa Fire folks for doing such an amazing job keeping it contained,” he said. “They were extraordinary. It could’ve been so much worse than it was. Like I said, I’m grateful to be alive.”

Three 6 Mafia’s Crunchy Black Wanted For Allegedly Beating Fiancee

0107-crunchy-black-getty-3

Spotted on TMZ:

Three 6 Mafia rapper Crunchy Black is a wanted man in Minnesota after cops says he beat his fiancee and then thumbed his nose at the judge.

CB and his lady were in a hotel room in March when guests began hearing thuds and screaming coming from the room. A hotel employee went up to check and found Crunchy’s financee had locked herself in the bathroom.

The hotel employee claimed CB’s fiancee said she would only come out if Crunchy would “stop beating her.” When police arrived, they found blood on the hotel bed and door frame as well as facial injuries.

The rapper was arrested and jailed, but not just for domestic violence. Cops say when he was booked, they found coke in his pocket.

Crunchy was charged with two counts of domestic assault and one count of drug possession … all felonies. He skipped his November court date so a warrant has now been issued for his arrest.

ESPN Anchor Stuart Scott Dies At 49

Wow, man. #FUCKCANCER. Spotted on ESPN:

Stuart Scott, a longtime anchor at ESPN, died Sunday morning at the age of 49.

Among the features of the new ESPN studio in Bristol is a wall of catchphrases made famous by on-air talent over the years. An amazing nine of them belong to one man — from his signature “Boo-Yah!” to “As cool as the other side of the pillow” to “He must be the bus driver cuz he was takin’ him to school.”

That man is Stuart Scott, and his contributions to the sports lexicon are writ large. But they are only one aspect of his legacy. When he passed away, he left behind so much more. He inspired his colleagues with his sheer talent, his work ethic and his devotion to his daughters, Taelor, 19, and Sydni, 15. He defied convention and criticism to help bring this network into a new century. He spoke to the very athletes he was talking about with a flair and a style that ESPN president John Skipper says, “changed everything.”

“He didn’t just push the envelope,” says sports radio host and former ESPN anchor Dan Patrick. “He bulldozed the envelope.”

And he saved his best for his last year on the air. At the ESPYS on July 16, shortly before his 49th birthday and following another round of cancer surgery, Stuart accepted the Jimmy V Award for Perseverance with strength, humor, grace and these eloquent words: “When you die, it does not mean that you lose to cancer. You beat cancer by how you live, why you live, and in the manner in which you live.”

Our condolences to Mr. Scott’s family and friends. You can read more on the story at ESPN.
