Floyd Mayweather and Jake Paul came face-to-face in Miami after the Heat game Wednesday night … the legendary boxer and a group of men confronted the Problem Child — before JP booked it from the area.
The incident happened after the Heat-Cavs game in south Florida … when Mayweather rolled up on Paul, who appeared to have a lone security guard with him at the time.
After exchanging a few words, Jake made a run for it … getting out of there before any fists started flying.
Of course, Floyd and Jake have been beefin’ since Paul snatched the hat off the 50-0 boxers head at a press event promoting his brother Logan’s fight with TBE in May 2021.
In Maryland, felony murder occurs when someone is killed while a felony crime like robbery is being committed.
For example, if a getaway driver hits and kills a pedestrian while fleeing the scene of a crime, they are guilty of felony murder under current law.
Democratic Delegate Charlotte Cruchfield is looking to change that with her Youth Accountability and Safety Act, or House Bill 1180. Crutchfield wants that to apply to anyone under the age of 25.
Former BET CEO Debra Lee reveals how her relationship with former BET head Bob Johnson turned toxic in her new book, I Am Debra Lee.
Lee spoke with Robin Roberts Tuesday on Good Morning America about her book and revealed how her relationship with Johnson developed while he was the head of the network. She alleges relationship eventually became something that Johnson held over her. Both were married when they had the affair.

“This story is about the shooting that took place on March 2010 in D.C that claimed 5 lives: all because of a missing bracelet. This video and others like it are not meant to glorify murder, or crime period This is only to document public stories that happened in D.C”
There is also some footage of what appears to be a conflict with the engineer in question prior to the alleged incident (above). From EW:
New York police are looking for rapper Travis Scott in connection to a physical altercation that occurred at a Manhattan nightclub early Wednesday.
The 30-year-old rapper, born Jacques Webster, has been accused of punching a sound engineer and causing $12,000 worth of damage at Club Nebula in Midtown following a “verbal dispute,” the New York Police Department confirmed to NBC News. Scott allegedly escalated the confrontation, punching the victim “with a closed fist on the left side of the face” and damaging a speaker and video screen, police said.
Scott had attended rapper Don Toliver’s show at nearby Irving Plaza earlier in the evening. Investigators are currently reviewing Club Nebula’s surveillance footage.
A South Florida judge ruled Tuesday that rapper Kodak Black enter a drug treatment program after his bond was revoked for failing a drug test while out on bond.
Broward County Judge Barbara Duffy issued an arrest warrant for Black last week after he didn’t appear for a scheduled drug test in early February and then days later submitted a sample that tested positive for fentanyl, court records reveal.
Black, whose real name is Bill Kapri, violated the conditions of his pretrial release stemming from an oxycodone trafficking charge last year.
In court Tuesday, an attorney for Black said it was possible the laboratory mixed up the urine sample because of a star-struck employee.
The employee who collected the sample testified in court that he may have made a mistake.
Duffy and the prosecution agreed that a hair sample could be taken Tuesday to determine if Kapri had any illicit drugs in his system.
“Not by this gentleman,” Duffy said, referring to the employee.
She then granted the defense’s request that Black be allowed to enter a 30-day in-patient drug treatment program next week so that he can attend this weekend’s Rolling Loud music festival in California.
As the hearing was ending, Black thanked Duffy and asked if he could have a Jolly Rancher from a bowl on the bench.
Duffy agreed. Black then reached into the bowl, selected one of the candies and removed the wrapper as he walked back to his seat. He then ate the Jolly Rancher.
There needs to be an official snitching council at this point, ’cause every one of y’all got a different definition of what that is. You can check out the Vlad TV clip that shows Boosie responding to T.I. apparently snitching on a dead loved one, but you can get the full breakdown from Complex below.
During a Friday appearance at Atlanta’s Trap City Cafe, the 42-year-old rapper took some time to call out Boosie Badazz. The two began exchanging shots this week after Boosie announced his decision to scrap his long-awaited album with Tip. Boosie told VladTV he dropped the project after learning T.I. had “snitched” on his late cousin, Toot, in an effort to dodge a gun charge. T.I. went on to deny the allegations and claimed he had “paperwork” to prove he wasn’t a rat.
“I got some paperwork to show them,” T.I. said Friday while holding some documents. “And when you leave up out this muthafucka, please let a muthafucka know that the paperwork was present, and if they wasn’t here, they shouldn’t be saying a muthafuckin’ thing about the king.”
He continued: “I’ve been waiting on one special invited guest to show up, and he ain’t showed up yet. But it was somebody that had something to say about me and had to question my disposition in some of my cases. But he ain’t here to see my paperwork. And I just don’t like for a n***a to get fly then get shy … I’m right here in the center, you hear me? So, come on if you got something to say about me. If you think it is what it ain’t, it ain’t but one way to clear it up. Pull on up, let me show you what you lookin’ for. I wanna see who wanna see it.”

Undefeated boxing star Gervonta Davis pleaded guilty on Thursday to four counts stemming from a hit-and-run crash in November 2020 that left four people injured, including a pregnant woman.
Davis’ sentencing is May 5.
Davis, 28, was scheduled to stand trial but waived that right Thursday. He did not speak after leaving the courtroom, and his lawyer Michael Tomko declined comment.
Davis pleaded guilty to four traffic offenses: leaving the scene of an accident involving bodily injury, failing to notify of property damage, driving with a revoked license and running a red light. Upon Davis entering his guilty plea, Circuity Judge Althea M. Handy told Davis that he’s doing so “with no agreement of what penalty will be at sentencing.”
On Nov. 5, 2020 around 2 a.m., Davis left a downtown club in Baltimore and drove a Lamborghini under a police escort, according to the prosecution. He then veered from the caravan and eventually ran a red light and struck the passenger side of a 2004 Toyota Solara. Davis was accused of feeling the scene of an accident that involved four people, including pregnant woman Jyair Smith.
The D.C. frontrunner took to social media to ask others from the area (including Baltimore) to collaborate in a show of unity. We, for one, would be extremely excited at such a concept.

From NBC Washington, where you can check out the full story:
A D.C. rapper pleaded guilty to four charges Thursday, months after he allegedly fired a gun inside Tysons Corner Center, causing panicked shoppers to run for exits and hide in the mall.
Noah Settles, also known as No Savage, of Southeast D.C., was accused of firing a gun three times after a physical altercation last year on Father’s Day weekend. No one was injured.
Video of the chaos around the shooting was played in court. It showed Settles, who was at Tyson’s with a female friend, in several confrontations with a group of people wearing white shirts, even running away at one point before coming back.
His defense attorney maintains that Settles fired to defend himself from a gang member armed with a gun.
Settles pleaded guilty to three counts of malicious discharge of a firearm in an occupied dwelling and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
There was no agreement on sentencing, but Settles faces a mandatory 3-year prison term on the unlawful use of a firearm charge. The other charges could result in sentences between 2 and 10 years.
Noah Settles entered Alford pleas to the felonies, meaning he does not admit guilt but concedes there is enough evidence to convict him.

While accusations of a physical fight between Quavo and Offset have shut down, it appears that there was a conflict — one that Cardi B had to deal with (as seen via Entertainment Weekly). Hopefully, all parties can build and truly unite, especially because of the tragedy that surrounds it. RIP Takeoff.
There’s clearly still serious bad blood between Migos’ rappers Quavo and Offset following the death of Takeoff … and those emotions boiled over backstage at the Grammys into a physical fight.
Sources at the show tell us just before Quavo took the stage to perform his song “Without You” as a tribute to Takeoff during the “In Memoriam” segment of the show, he and Offset got into a physical fight and had to be pulled apart.
As for what led to it — we’re told The Grammys had asked Offset to be a part of the tribute, but Quavo refused to let him take part. We’re told Quavo blocked Offset from joining him on stage … leading to the melee.
Our Offset sources say it was Quavo who started the fight.
We don’t know, guys… you can see the clip for yourself below. Also, this comment: “Baby Who yo real parents? I know R-rah got some rough genes but Aliyah would’ve been able to combat some of the visual misfortune.”
I don’t know where this is going, but the fact that it’s all spawned from Takeoff’s senseless death makes this whole conflict trash. You can see both vids below.
“Don’t ever put me in a position where I have to defend myself… that wouldn’t be healthy for you” 😳 J Prince leaves a threatening message for Offset: pic.twitter.com/Pj6nSWZ5GC
This isn’t new, but certain outlets like MyMixtapez have noticed that, in a past “Drink Champs” interview with Wale, N.O.R.E. was being super hot about the recently freed Fat Trel. As the question is posed in the below clip, is the NYC veteran being too hot with that lined of questioning?
The Baltimore County woman who shot her husband at a Washington, D.C., hotel in July 2022 was sentenced to prison.
Shanteari Weems was sentenced Friday to four years in prison, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia. She pleaded guilty in November 2022 to shooting her husband, James Weems Jr., saying it was an act of self-defense.
Shanteari Weems said she shot her husband over child sex abuse allegations at her day care center.
James Weems Jr., a retired Baltimore City police officer, was arrested on several sex offense charges. He is scheduled to go to trial in the summer.
The mother of 13-year-old Karon Blake says she thought her son was sleeping when he was shot by a D.C. worker in Northeast.
Londen Blake broke her silence the day after the man accused of killing her son, Jason Michael Lewis, pleaded not guilty. Lewis is facing second degree murder while armed charges for the death of Karon Blake.
“He was the man of the house. That’s who helped me, and he took him from me,” said Blake about the seventh grader, the eldest of her four children.
Blake told reporters she was doing her best as a mother, “Children are children, you know? Some of them grow up too fast. Some of them do things that they are not supposed to do, and some parents are not aware at all times.”
“What I can say is that Karon came from a good home and I tried my best with him, you know? But Jason Lewis, he had no right. He had no right,” said the 13-year-old’s mother, “It could’ve went a different way.”
Addressing criticisms from the community, Ms. Blake and her attorney also told reporters she thought he was home that morning and did not know he was in fact out. Her attorney said Blake is not an irresponsible parent.
“Everybody is like, ‘what is he doing out a 4 a.m.?’ It’s like, would y’all feel better if it was at 4 p.m.? A crime is a crime. He took my baby. My firstborn. And it’s messed up, but I’ve got to live with that,” Ms. Blake said.
Rock band The 1975 are in the throws of their world tour, which kicked off late last year and runs until May. During their Belfast stop, lead singer Matty Healy decided to divert from the program to shout out Young Thug, who is currently in the midst of a highly publicized legal battle in Atlanta. As the concertgoers in SSE Arena listened on, Healy expressed his feelings about the YSL head honcho’s situation over Auto-Tune:
“Free Young Thug. None of these cultural references make any sense without Young Thug. Don’t care if he did anything with guns. Free Thugger. F**kin’ free Thugger.”
He then ended his short speech by telling everyone to “do their research,” eliciting yells from some and what appeared to be confusion from others.
Young Thug, Gunna, and a number of other individuals from the Young Stoner Life collective were arrested last year on RICO charges. Last month, Gunna was released from jail after entering an Alford plea, which resulted in him receiving a suspended sentence and an order to complete several hundred hours of community service.
While the aforementioned on-stage message was surprising, The 1975 aren’t strangers to the hip hop landscape by any means. Previously, Healy joined many others in calling for A$AP Rocky‘s freedom following the Harlem talent’s arrest in Sweden a few years ago. In a 2013 MTV interview, the British vocalist expressed his love for the rap genre:
“That kind of beat poetry inspired and really, really informed the way that I wrote lyrics,” he stated. “I never really had a formula for writing lyrics, but the only thing I did know was that I wanted it to be as earthy as that is, like Seamus Heaney and people like that.”
You can check out fan footage of Healy speaking on Thugger below.
