I wanted him to be there. I’m that kind of guy—a weird, kinda creepy kind of guy. I had to pay a lot of money to get an extended tour trailer that would fit his casket and all of the merch.

Baby Mama Carmen Bryan Claims That Nas Owes $11,000 In Child Support, Is Bi-Polar

Carmen Bryan Nas Destiny

Earlier reports (that we missed) stated that Carmen Bryan is taking her baby daddy Nas to court for back child support in the amount of $11,000. In a recent interview, she then made claims (which she will be using in court) that Nas has some serious mental issues:

“Well first off, let me just say my experiences with Nas, my dealings with Nas, and my research all lead me to believe that he does suffer from bipolarism and he may be a paranoid schizophrenic. That’s my personal opinion based on my experiences and interaction with him. An incident occurred with Nas years ago when we were together. I came in the house, Destiny and I, and he was on the couch wrapped up in a blanket; his mom was on one side of him, his brother on the other side, there were a few more people in the house. My first reaction was, ‘Is everything okay? What happened?’ And that’s when Nas told me ghosts were haunting him again, and entities were whispering to him and touching him and bothering him. This is something that he mentioned when we first got together, but I had never experienced him ever experiencing it until that moment. So, I’ve witnessed this long battle with insanity.”

Russia Orders Ukraine To Surrender

ABC Entertainment News | ABC Business News

AP/ABC News – Russian forces seized two more Ukrainian facilities in Crimea today as others surrounded Ukrainian military bases, demanding their surrender.

In Balaklava, a picturesque coastal town on the Black Sea, pro-Russian troops were in control of Coast Guard base today. The seizure marked the end of a week of peaceful negotiations, a Russian man speaking for the troops told ABC News. In the end those on the base who did not want to side with Russia left after laying down their weapons.

A captain in Balaklava’s port said that until a few days ago, a Russian naval ship had blocked the mouth of the port, giving Ukrainian naval ships the choice to leave or defect. Most, around 15, left for Odessa while a handful remained.

In Kerch, the easternmost point in Crimea, a ferry terminal was taken by pro-Russian troops today, the Associated Press reported.

Over the past few days, highly-organized and heavily-armed troops believed to be Russians – but bearing no identifying patches – have encircled Ukrainian bases, demanding they surrender.

The deputy commander of a naval operations base in the Crimean capital Simferopol told ABC News on Sunday that Russian forces had twice asked he and his men to leave but so far they have refused. His orders were to stand firm, he said, adding that they have weapons and are ready to fight.

But there have been no clashes so far, Russia managing to take control of Crimea without firing a shot. The airports, parliament and other government buildings are under the control of the militias.

So far, Ukraine’s new government and the West have appeared powerless to counter Russia’s tactics. Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk insisted that Crimea remains Ukrainian territory despite the presence of Russian military.

“Any attempt of Russia to grab Crimea will have no success at all. Give us some time,” he said at a news conference with British Foreign Secretary William Hague, who is visiting Kiev.

“For today, no military options (are) on the table,” he said, adding that what they urgently need is an economic and political support.

Russia’s foreign minister said today that Russian troops are in Crimea to protect Russian citizens and that they would remain “until the normalization of the political situation.”

The United States has demanded the withdrawal of Russian troops, calling Russia’s military action the “invasion and occupation of Ukrainian territory.”

Secretary of State John Kerry is being dispatched to Kiev on Tuesday. He has floated the possibility of pushing for economic sanctions against Russia, saying “all options are on the table.”

“The hope of the U.S. and everybody in the world is not to see this escalate into a military confrontation,” he told ABC’s “This Week.”

At Balaklava’s Coast Guard base, a soldier speaking to reporters said he was a Russian contractor from the southern Russian city of Rostov-on-Don. Two guards were stationed outside the base’s front gate, wearing ski masks and standing behind large shields.

The surrender had been an emotional affair, the contractor said, with troops who support Russia staying inside and hugging those who were leaving.

Asked if he was Ukrainian or Russian, one of the troops standing guard out front responded, “My grandfather used to say Ukraine is the best Russia has.”

European Union foreign ministers met today, working on a joint response to Russia’s military incursion that could include economic sanctions. In addition, the United States is laying groundwork to kick Russia out of the G-8 due to the military action in Crimea.

VIDEO: Oscar Pistorius Murder Trial Underway

From BBC News:

A neighbour of South African athlete Oscar Pistorius has told a court in Pretoria that she was awoken by a woman’s “terrible screams” in the early hours of 14 February 2013.

Mr Pistorius has pleaded not guilty at the start of his trial for the murder of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.

He shot dead the 29-year-old model and reality TV star at his home, saying he mistook her for an intruder.

The neighbour, Michelle Burger, said cries for help were followed by shots.

She screamed terribly and she yelled for help. Then I also heard a man screaming for help. Three times he yelled for help,” Ms Burger told the high court in the capital.

She said she called security and then heard four gunshots.

The arrest of the national sporting hero astounded South Africa.

The 27-year-old double amputee won gold at the London 2012 Paralympic Games and also competed at the Olympics.

For the first time in South Africa, parts of the trial are being televised live, although Ms Burger’s testimony, in Afrikaans, was only relayed in audio.

The start to proceedings at the court in the capital on Monday was delayed by 90 minutes as a Afrikaans translator was absent. It has now adjourned for the day.

The BBC’s Andrew Harding in the courtroom said Mr Pistorius looked calm, or at least neutral as he arrived in court – a far cry from the emotional wreck he seemed at the bail hearing last year.

Mr Pistorius’s uncle, brother and sister were also in court; next to them on the relatives’ bench sat the family of Ms Steenkamp, including her mother June, our correspondent said.

Mr Pistorius pleaded not guilty to all charges, including the “wilful and intentional murder of Reeva Steenkamp” as the trial began.

His lawyer read out a statement from the athlete, giving his version of events of how Ms Steenkamp died, saying he believed his girlfriend was in bed when he shot at the toilet door in the early hours of Valentine’s Day last year.

Ms Burger told the court she lived nearby on a neighbouring gated estate to Mr Pistorius in Pretoria – and she and her husband were sleeping with the windows open.

“It was very traumatic for me. You could hear blood curdling screams,” she said.

Following a lunch break, the defence lawyer Barry Roux began questioning Ms Burger over differences between her sworn statement and her testimony.

State prosecutors say Mr Pistorius planned the killing and shot Ms Steenkamp after a row.

If found guilty of premeditated murder, he could face life imprisonment.

He has also been charged with illegally possessing ammunition.

There are no juries at trials in South Africa, and his fate will ultimately be decided by Judge Thokozile Masipa.

Much of the case will depend on ballistic evidence from the scene of the shooting, correspondents say.

On the anniversary of the shooting, Mr Pistorius released a rare statement in which he said: “The loss of Reeva and the complete trauma of that day, I will carry with me for the rest of my life.”

Bank Heiress Kate Rothschild Under Heavy Scrutiny Over Affair-Turned-Relationship With Jay Electronica

So, while he’s not dropping his long-awaited album, he jumping in some banking VJ. Welp…from Daily Mail:

Pulling hard on a cigarette as she sauntered down the road, the unkempt brunette in the hoodie barely drew a glance from photographers outside Ronnie Scott’s nightclub in Soho last week.

The flashbulbs duly exploded into action for Kate Moss, Noel Gallagher, Stephen Fry and many more. But what of the girl in the tracksuit and grubby trainers? She would have looked more at home begging for change.

It was only when her companion was refused entry to the club, sparking an unseemly argument with door staff, that the penny dropped. This was no beggar; it was Kate Rothschild, mother-of-three and heiress to one of the world’s most illustrious — and notorious — banking dynasties, with her rapper boyfriend, the extravagantly monikered Jay Electronica.

‘To be quite frank I was shocked when I saw the pictures,’ a long-standing family friend of the Rothschilds told me this week. ‘One tries not to jump to conclusions, but when she goes out looking like that it is terribly worrying.

‘The past 18 months have been particularly difficult for Kate. Everyone had been hoping that things would settle down, but she is increasingly out of reach. Fundamentally, she is a wonderful girl with a sensible head on her shoulders. She’s also a great mum. But there is a wild, creative side which has a tendency to give everyone around her sleepless nights.

‘From what I hear of the events the other day, they made quite a spectacle of themselves. What was she thinking?’

Indeed, Kate Rothschild’s life has undergone a total transformation since 2005, when she was happy to describe herself as a housewife. Now she is a rock chick, hanging out with rappers.

It is certainly hard to believe that Tuesday’s apparition is the stunning girl who lit up the gossip columns a decade ago in the society wedding of the year.

Kate, then 21, was a vision of understated beauty with flowers in her hair as she wed Ben Goldsmith, bringing together two of Britain’s most fabulously wealthy dynasties. He was worth £300 million; his bride a comparatively paltry £18 million.

Now, her marriage destroyed, she spends her life trying to control a wannabe rapper. As Jay’s manager, Kate, 31, has had to fit in with him — swapping designer dresses and jolly lunches for tracksuits and snatched cigarettes outside recording studios.

Meanwhile, Jay, who has a daughter by a previous relationship and a penchant for marijuana and Jack Daniels, has introduced her to life a world away from her comfortable upbringing.

When they go out partying, which is often, Jay likes to make an impression. His reputation is as a man who doesn’t care who he offends — a trait that many blame for his failure thus far to turn talent into record sales.

Philip Seymour Hoffman’s Mother Speaks On Son’s Death

mom

From NY Daily News:

Philip Seymour Hoffman’s mother has broken her silence over her son’s death — saying he was “a gift to me for 46 years.”

“It has been a devastating loss for us,” Marilyn O’Connor said in a statement read at an upstate film series honoring the late actor.

“We miss and cry for the little boy and the man, the brother, the uncle, the husband, the father, the friend, and while we will miss seeing him, we will also miss his talent, his knowledge of his craft, and seeing results of his hard work.

“He was a gift to me for 46 years,” it added.

The statement was read by Hoffman’s friend, retired film critic Jack Garner, at the event in Rochester.

O’Connor typed out the tribute before it was revealed Friday that the 46-year-old Oscar winner overdosed on a lethal cocktail of drugs.

The Game Raps About Smashing Kim Kardashian In Unreleased Demo

From TMZ:

The Game didn’t outright say he boinked Kim Kardashian back in the day … but he did rap about it on a song with Ray J called, “I HIT IT FIRST”.

TMZ obtained an early demo of Ray J’s infamous song … turns out Game was originally featured on the track — and it sounds like he’s rapping about hooking up with Kim.

Game is cryptic with his XXX lyrics — but makes reference to her store “Dash” … and says he’ll show people how to really “drive that ghost” (seemingly talking about Kim’s Rolls Royce Ghost.)

Juicy J Gives His Oscars Dos & Don’ts (Video)

From MTV:

With only 45 seconds, many Academy Award recipients barely have enough time to spit out their thanks before getting the cue to wrap it up. So when MTV News caught up with Oscar winner Juicy J on the set of MTV2’s “Charlamagne & Friends” we asked the Three 6 Mafia rapper if he had any advice on accepting such a prestigious honor in such a small increment of time.

“Just don’t be drunk, you know, be sober the whole show. And if you win, or if you don’t win or whatever, then get drunk after the show,” he said. “That’s what I did, you know what I’m saying, I was super sober and after the show, after we won, I actually tried to get drunk, but I couldn’t because I was super tired, but I was drunk, a little bit.”

When Three 6 took home the Oscar for Best Original Song in 2006, “Thank you Jesus,” was the first words out of Juicy’s mouth. With this said, it’s no surprise that giving it up to the big guy in the sky was first on his list of “dos.”

“I think they should thank God, man, you know what I’m saying; I don’t hear a lot of people thanking God, in their acceptance speeches,” he explained. “They be just like, yo, thank this person. You should thank everybody, and thank God as well, you know what I’m saying. It it wasn’t for him, we wouldn’t even be here.”

Girl Brags On Facebook, Costs Her Family $80,000 As A Result

view

Idiot. From the Miami Herald:

The Third District Court of Appeal tossed out an $80,000 discrimination settlement Wednesday between Gulliver Preparatory School and its former headmaster Patrick Snay, ruling the ex-employee and his daughter breached the terms of a confidential agreement when she took to social media to brag about it.

“Mama and Papa Snay won the case against Gulliver,” Dana Snay posted days later to her 1,200 Facebook friends. “Gulliver is now officially paying for my vacation to Europe this summer. SUCK IT.”

The post, seen by current and former Gulliver students, made its way back to the school’s attorneys, who told the Snays they’d violated the deal. Patrick Snay last year won a Circuit Court ruling to enforce the deal, but Judge Linda Ann Wells overturned that decision Wednesday.

“Snay violated the agreement by doing exactly what he had promised not to do,” Wells wrote. “His daughter then did precisely what the confidentiality agreement was designed to prevent.”

The case originated in 2010 when Gulliver declined to renew Snay’s contract following years of employment. Snay, now 69, claimed age discrimination and retaliation that involved his daughter, a student at the school.

Gulliver settled the case in November of 2011 and agreed to pay checks of $10,000 in back wages, another $60,000 to Snay’s attorneys, and an $80,000 settlement to Snay. The terms hinged on a confidentiality agreement that according to Wells required Snay and his wife to keep the “terms and existence” of the agreement private.

Snay, however, immediately told his daughter that he’d settled and was happy with the results. He said in depositions that he and his wife knew they had to say something because she suffered “psychological scars” from issues during her enrollment at the school and was aware that they were in mediation with Gulliver attorneys.

“We knew what the restrictions were, yet we needed to tell her something,” he said.

Alone, it’s unlikely confiding in Dana Snay would have jeopardized the settlement. But having just graduated from Gulliver, she took to social media to crow — the European vacation was just a joke, apparently — and in doing so broadcast to current and former students of the school that Gulliver had just lost its case with its former headmaster.

So much for confidential.

Four days after inking the deal, Gulliver’s attorneys notified the former headmaster that they wouldn’t pay. When Snay won a ruling to enforce the settlement, Gulliver appealed and won.

Snay, who is now headmaster at Riviera Preparatory Academy in Coral Gables, can file a motion for rehearing and also appeal to the Florida Supreme Court.

Two Men Found Dead Inside Car In North London

Spotted on Daily Mail:

A double murder investigation has been launched following the deaths of two men.

Ambulance services were called to the scene in Montague Road, Leytonstone, north east London, shortly before 1am following reports of two injured people.

They found the two seriously wounded men, believed to be in their 20s, in a vehicle and alerted the police. They were pronounced dead at the scene.

News services report the two men had been shot, but this is yet to be confirmed by police.
Tributes, some of which appear to be addressed to Aaron and Josiah, have been left at the scene throughout the day.

Detectives continue to appeal for witnesses and information.

An incident room has opened in Barking under Detective Chief Inspector Neil Attewell from the Homicide and Major Crime Command.

Post-mortem examinations were due to take place at Walthamstow Mortuary this afternoon.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said it was unclear how long the post-mortem investigations were going to take.

They added it could take longer than usual because both of the men are to be examined together.

The ambulance crew was called at 12.45 this morning. London 999 service sent two ambulances, a fast response unit and a conventional ambulance.

London’s air ambulance doctor was also dispatched by car.

From TMZ:

Snoop Dogg and Oprah have finally settled their beef … after the rapper and Big O met up Friday night during an Oscar party.

Snoop put Oprah on blast back in ’08 for saying on her show he was prejudice against women. Snoop said he was pissed she didn’t give him a chance to defend himself.

Apparently the two have put the past behind them … because last night Snoopzilla posted the pic of him and O with Gayle King, proclaiming “Black history.’

Maybe they just liked his nails.

Starz’s upcoming drug-trade drama, “Power,” executive produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, will debut in Summer 2014 with eight hour-long episodes.

Hardwick leads the ensemble cast, which includes Lela Loren as Angela Valdes, an old flame of James’s who unexpectedly reenters his life; Naturi Naughton as Tasha St. Patrick, wife, confidant and willing accomplice to James; and Joseph Sikora, who plays Tommy Egan, Ghost’s childhood best friend and business partner.

50 Cent and La La Anthony will also appear on the drama in recurring roles.

Courtney Kemp Agboh (“The Good Wife”) created “Power” and will serve as executive producer and showrunner. Alongside 50 Cent, Mark Canton, Randall Emmett and David Knoller serve as executive producers in association with CBS Television Studios.
