Chaka Khan Denies Throwing Beyonce Shade

Chaka Khan

The direct tweet to Beyonce doesn’t seem to be there anymore, but below you can check out Chaka Khan’s response to accusations that she was dissing King Bey in a recent interview:

With my girl @Ledisi at the SHADE FREE @essencemag Black Women in Hollywood event. Did you catch that, tabloids?!?

@Beyonce Sorry you had to be the target of a slow news day. You know I have nothing but LOVE for you! Keep handling your business!!

Viewers Continue To Complain About Beyonce’s GRAMMY Performance

Beyonce and JAY Z’s performance of ‘Drunk In Love’ (which hilarious viewers deemed overtly sexual and pornographic) wasn’t the only problem; according to the above letters sent to the FCC regarding the GRAMMYS, Katy Perry was summoning Satan and Macklemore and Ryan Lewis were in the wrong for shoving the gay agenda down their throats. These are only about half of the complaints received….nonetheless, I doubt FCC is going to do anything (and that’s fine with me).

You can check out a recap of the above performances (and more) here.

Beyoncé Partners With British Royal Family For #BeyGood Campaign

Spotted on Digital Spy:

Beyoncé has teamed up with The Prince’s Trust to launch a new charity campaign.

The #BeyGood campaign will tie in with the UK dates of the star’s ‘Mrs Carter World Tour‘ and aims to raise funds for the youth charity.

Concert-goers who support the cause, which aims to help disadvantaged young people across the UK, will be given a #BeyGood sticker and the chance to have their seat upgraded to an exclusive VIP area.

Fans can earn a sticker by making a £3 donation to The Prince’s Trust by text or online, purchasing a #BeyGood t-shirt, or bringing used items of clothing to a donation site at the venues.

Beyoncé said: “As a young child I was blessed to have the support of my family who encouraged me to reach for my goals. So many young people don’t have this.

“I am honored to partner the #BeyGood campaign with The Prince’s Trust to help young people beat the odds and create better lives for themselves.”

Chief Executive of The Prince’s Trust Martina Milburn added: “We are very proud that Beyoncé has partnered with The Prince’s Trust through her #BeyGood campaign.

“As a longstanding ambassador of our charity, Beyoncé understands that, every day in the UK, young people are facing not only unemployment but also the devastating effects of homelessness, addiction, poverty, bullying and poor mental health.

“All of these hardships can leave them feeling that life isn’t worth living. It is up to us to help them get their lives back on track and the funds raised through the #BeyGood campaign will help us to do that.”

Jennifer Hudson May Or May Not Have Dissed Beyoncé (She Claims She Didn’t)

79th Annual Academy Awards - Show

Spotted on DJ Enuff’s blog:

Apparently last week, Jennifer Hudson expressed that folks talk too much about sex in their music nowadays. Many including Beyoncé’s stans and Wendy Williams took the comment as a shot against Beyoncé. Here is what she said below:

Singing about the same old things in music is so overrated. Sex, drinkin’, the club. Okay, especially sex. Like, we [are] grownups, we ain’t got over that, like, really? Ain’t you too old for that kind of thing? Can you talk about something else? I get annoyed with those things.

Immediately the Beyhives assumed that it was about Bey and to make matters worse Wendy Williams got the pot brewing when she brought up the comment during her Hot Topics segment by saying:

“She was talking about Beyoncé.”

Wendy even tweeted:

Apollo was arrested for bank fraud & JHud may be throwing shade to Beyonce. Wendy has the details today in #HotTopics

Moments later Jennifer responded to the assumptions on Twitter, letting the world know that she did mention any names.

if u took my general comment and YOU singled out someone to apply it it to , then that would mean that’s how u feel. Not me.

WOW: UK Newspaper Calls Beyonce A “Whore”

beyonce-whore

Our friends across the pond called Beyonce a whore after her performance on Sunday night at the Grammys with her husband Jay Z. They performed her hit single “Drunk In Love”.

Metro reports:

Horrified viewer Mandy Flores wrote on Facebook: ‘Aren’t u a mother now!!? Thought u had class, how trashy and I couldn’t even let my 8 year old watch. U have never done anything like that! So disappointed.’

Others quickly reached for the remote control, with JJ Boogie tweeting: ‘Opening Grammy song performance inappropriate for young children. Thank you Beyonce. #ChannelChange.’

Another horrified woman said the 32-year-old mum looked like a ‘wh*re on stage’ at the Staples Center in LA.
