Don King – The Morgue (Video)

Don King has created a lot of buzz stimulating around his name, since he first released his freshman mixtape last year “Its All On Me” the DC Native / MD Representative is gearing up to show the world he isn’t finished. This lyrical artist has grabbed the attention of many due to his ingenious ways with words, and his delivery.

The visual he brings to you today is well beyond satisfaction, with such a creepy/haunted theme this video “The Morgue” which is a cover version of Lil Herbs “All My Ni**as” track was shot & edited by Chris Klein, and will also be the intro to Don’s upcoming mixtape.

King says “He’s coming for the industry” now. This new tape he has put together is set to be released on Halloween 10/31/14 titled “Welcome To The Morgue” (Death 2 The Industry) where he kills just about every newest radio track or hottest song from any of your favorite artist in the industry.

The viewers and listeners are never disappointed with the work he puts out so you know this here should be a crowd pleaser.

Tray Hi-res-102

Tray Chaney may or may not be best known to folks as an actor (specifically, Poot from the legendary Baltimore-based series The Wire), but lately, he’s been making a not of noise in music, specifically with his most recent Mike Bully campaign (which is based off of his single of the same name). We would like to take a moment and catch up with Tray Chaney the artist ourselves, and so have presented some of his latest music visuals to date. Kane Mayfield – Shining Star

Damn. Just read the message attached below (NOTE: given our tardiness for posting this, we don’t know what the situation has updated to, but we’re praying for the best anyway…).

I write this with tears pouring down my face…. People that know me know that everything I have done in life (from stockbroker, to homebuyer, to rapper) has been for my mother. Nothing has, or ever will mean more to me than her. She is laying in the ICU of a Florida hospital and the outcome looks grim. If you care about me (or who you perceive me to be) than please take a few moments to hear about the person that gave birth to me. At one point i had NO MONEY… like none to buy the mother I love a Christmas gift. I KILLED ME. But I had this song. So I gave it to her. She is not a fan of rap, or (more importantly) the fact that I rap. I sent it to her with the lyrics attached and apologized for not being able to afford her a proper gift. She called me crying saying she loved it.

Right now I am crying because i love her.. I wish i could have done more….

A part of me will close off after tomorrow.
