Kendrick Lamar Speaks On ‘Kill My Vibe’ Remix With Jay-Z

While in Austin for SXSW, K-Dot spoke on having Jay-Z on his upcoming ”Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe” remix with MTV.

“Ah, man, I can’t really speak too much on it, I just know it’s in the air right now. I can’t — it’s under wraps. It’s all love. That’s the big homey. It’s one of them things, you know, you live up to and one of them moments to really challenge yourself and say ‘OK, that’s how I come in. Always looked up to the greats to be a great.’ So to actually be on a track with him, it’s an accomplishment.”

Backstage of the Roseland Ballroom in NYC, Thisis50 and Jack Thriller had a chance to meet up with Kendrick Lamar to speak on what it took to get him this far in his music career. The rappers climb to the top partially has to do with ignoring all the negativity he may receive.

He just came back from his tour in Europe. He said unlike the people, the weather sucked. Speaking of being out of the country, it has been about three months since Kendrick has seen his family.
