Former Remy Boy P-Dice Speaks On Fall Out With Fetty Wap; Fetty Wap Responds
UPDATE: We added another video showing P-Dice making a DJ turn off Fetty Wap’s single ‘679’ below.
All videos are below. Spotted on The Source:
This week, P-Dice sat down with VladTV and discussed the issue for the first time publicly. Telling his side of he story, he explains in detail that he was removed from the group due to a skirmish with another New Jersey based artist and was thus deemed a liability.
No less than 24 hours later, Fetty Wap responded with a video of his own. Leaving the humility at the door, a more expressive and Fetty shared that he was never truly that close with P-Dice and his departure from the group was based on a lack of loyalty. Check out both videos below.
In addition, the fellow New Jersey artist that P-Dice mentions having beef with, Tax G, is claiming that Fetty took his entire style as well. From HHDX:
“I met up with P. Dice specifically about a couple months ago. But we from Jersey, we all know each other. And we know who’s doing their thing in each city, basically. So, it’s like mutual music. That’s it…A year and a half ago, I basically got a style I had patented and I had built since 2007-08. I hear ‘Trap Queen’ on the radio. A lot of people hit me up like ‘Tax, is that you? Is that you?’ I’m like ‘Wait, let me go hear this. Nah, that’s not me’…A lot of people was saying ‘Yo, he’s taking your shit. He’s stealing your adlibs.’ I just let that go. I’m like it’s a Jersey artist. I’mma support, but it’s just like what woke me up is the guy got the dreadlocks. And it wasn’t just black dreadlocks. They were actually blonde dreadlocks. And I been having the same [style] hair, dreadlocks since 2008. Even before that. So, it’s too strong of a coincidence. And it’s too close to home to be a clone.”

DAMN: Scarface Arrested At BET Hip-Hop Awards
Featured image post: AP Photo/Branden Camp
Spotted on Freddy O:
Last night the 2015 BET Hip Hop Awards honored the hip hop legend Scarface formerly of the Geto Boys with the “I Am Legend Award“. He’s a true pioneer in Hip Hop who gave voice to the gangster hip hop genre invoking images of true horror laced with street imagery. Scarface is known for his epic story telling capablity and he’s also responsible for opening doors of opportunity to southern hip hop artists as president of Def Jam South and he was insturmental in helping Atlanta rapper Christopher “Ludacris” Bridges break into the industry.
Scarface was truly pleased and so thankful for his fans for supporting his career throughout the years. He graciously accepted the “I AM Legend Award” and was very vocal about being full of gratitude and love for Hip Hop and his many fans.. It was truly inspiring to see someone in the industry who is truly humble and full of gratitude because so many lack that trait in this industry.
After Scarface exited the stage heading back to the celebrity trailers there were 10 sherriffs waiting to arrest him. Sources revealed that Scarface had a warrant and he was not suppose to leave the State of Texas. Scarface was so concerned about accepting his award and not disappointing his fans he risked being arrested. Snoop was back stage when Scarface was arrested and was upset that; the great moment ended on a sour note. The incident resulted in the show being delayed.

WOW: American Airlines Pilot Dies Mid-Flight; Co-Pilot Makes Emergency Landing
An American Airlines Pilot Died Mid-Flight
American Airlines pilot dies during flight, co-pilot takes over and safely lands plane
Posted by NowThis on Monday, October 5, 2015
Wow! From Fox Business, where you can read the full story:
An American Airlines pilot died suddenly during a red-eye flight early Monday, leaving the plane’s first officer to make an emergency landing with 152 people on board.
Early Tuesday, American Airlines formally identified the pilot as Captain Michael Johnston, 57. A statement from the airline said Johnson had broken into the commercial aviation industry as a first officer for America West Airlines in 1990. The statement did not specify how Johnston had died.
The Airbus 320 was en-route from Phoenix to Boston and had to be diverted to Syracuse. Before the flight landed there, the first officer called the airport tower and said “American 550. Medical emergency. Captain is incapacitated.”
Bobby Shmurda Denied Bond (Again)
From Page Six:
Brooklyn rapper Bobby Shmurda lost yet another bid for bail Monday in advance of his upcoming drug-dealing and weapons-possession trial in Manhattan.
The 21-year-old rapper, whose legal name is Ackquille Pollard, has been incarcerated since his arrest in December, when the judge set bail of $2 million.
The rising Epic Records artist is being repped by a new lawyer, Alex Spiro of the high-powered law firm Brafman & Associates. Spiro appeared in court for the case Monday for the first time.
During the hearing, Judge James Burke set a new trial date of Feb. 22, but Spiro objected to the further delay and asked for his client to be released pending the trial.
But Special Narcotics Prosecutor Nigel Farinha argued that there had already been at least four bail applications that had been denied and that the case had only gotten stronger. He cited Shmurda’s ties to Florida and net worth of half a million dollars.
Burke denied the bail request.
Shmurda and 14 other alleged GS9 gangsters were arrested Dec. 17, 2014, in connection with a drug and firearm ring, several brazen public shootings and the murder of a 19-year-old rival, court records show.
Only months earlier, Shmurda’s 2014 single “Hot Boy” shot to No. 6 on the US Billboard Hot 100 charts.

Jeezy Announces New Champagne
Full press release below.
JEEZY ANNOUNCES NEW CHAMPAGNE PROJECT IN DEVELOPMENT COINED
“PROJECT GOLD BOTTLES”
Newly Released Track, “Gold Bottles,” Inspired by Project
ATLANTA, SEPTEMBER 30, 2015 — Jay Jenkins, better known as the multi-platinum hip-hop artist and entrepreneur JEEZY, announces his development of a new luxury champagne brand. As with most projects in the development phase, this initiative comes with an alias. The new project has been coined “Project Gold Bottles.” The project has served as the inspiration behind Jeezy’s recently released song “Gold Bottles,” from his forthcoming album.
Known to enjoy ultra-premium tequila and high quality champagne, Jeezy has always had the passion to develop a special drink. After being nudged by several industry leaders in the champagne space to create a new brand, Jeezy recognized it was time to put a stake in the ground and begin the development of a champagne. Jeezy’s first step was reaching out to friend Ken Austin, the founder of Tequila Avion and a well-known, successful entrepreneur and spirits and beverage expert, to partner on his venture.
“I have long loved high-end tequila and champagne and this love has inspired me to create a rich, full bodied champagne that represents my passion. I am fortunate to have a partner like Ken whose entrepreneurial track record includes my favorite ultra-premium tequila,” said Jeezy. “Ken has a deep understanding of the drinks space and several luxury categories that I know will be invaluable to growing this business. I look forward to bringing a luxury champagne to my fellow artists and fans in the near future.”
Jeezy will continue to act as multicultural advisor to Austin as it relates to his tequila brand, Tequila Avion. Avion has been a national player for four years and is already a top 3 selling ultra-premium tequila brand in the world. Avion was voted world’s best tasting tequila at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
“Gold Bottles” will be featured on Jeezy’s forthcoming album Church in the Streets, out November 13th. The song, produced by London On Da Track, follows the release of the tracks “God” and “Church in these Streets.” The three tracks can be listened to at www.JeezySundayService.com.
Over the course of his legendary career, Jeezy has sold more than 5 million albums worldwide and has had multiple chart-topping hits. This year marks the 10th anniversary of Jeezy’s seminal debut solo album Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101, which pioneered the genre of trap music. Proving that Jeezy has immense longevity, he released his fifth studio album, Seen it All, on September 2014, which was his first LP in nearly three years and marked the third No. 1 Soundscan debut of his career.
$10,000 Worth Of Marijuana Fell From The Sky In Arizona
From The Guardian, where you can read the full story:
Maya Donnelly awoke to what sounded like thunder in the early morning hours, but dismissed it as a typical monsoon storm and went back to sleep. Later that morning, she looked in the carport at her home in Nogales, near the US-Mexico border, and saw pieces of wood on the ground.
She found a bulky bundle wrapped in black plastic. Inside was roughly 26lbs of marijuana – a package that authorities say was worth $10,000 and was likely dropped there accidentally by a drug smuggler’s aircraft.
Police are now trying to determine whether the bundle was transported by an aircraft or a pilotless drone. Such runs usually occur at night.
“It’s all right on top of our dog’s house,” Donnelly said of the incident, which occurred on 8 September and was first reported by the Nogales International newspaper. “It just made a perfectly round hole through our carport.”
Living near the border, Donnelly said she assumed the object contained drugs. She immediately called her husband, Bill, who told her to call 911. The couple said officers who responded told them an ultralight aircraft smuggling marijuana from Mexico had probably let part of its load go early by accident before dropping the rest farther north, the newspaper reported.

Fetty Wap Ticketed Over Motorcycle Accident
Fetty Wap’s been hit with 3 tickets … one for every break in his leg after that motorcycle accident.
Cops in Paterson, NJ — Fetty’s hometown — cited Fetty for driving without a license, no insurance, and failing to produce registration for his bike. (TMZ)
In related news, he recently did an interview with The Breakfast Club, which you can check out below.
Lil Wayne Bus Shooter Claims He Had No Intent To Kill Anybody
From TMZ:
The man accused of shooting up Lil Wayne’s tour bus now says the notion he’d try to off Weezy is as absurd as Drew Brees trying to kill rival QB Matt Ryan.
Lawyers for Jimmy Winfrey — who’s currently behind bars, awaiting trial for the shooting in April — claim their client did not have a motive to hurt Wayne. The lawyers acknowledge Winfrey was an associate of Young Thug, but they say Y.T. idolizes Wayne.
The lawyers acknowledge there’s rivalry in the rap game, but that doesn’t mean rappers automatically want to kill each other. Winfrey’s lawyers say, “Clearly, the New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons are rivals because they are fighting every year to win the same division: the NFC South. Yet, this does not provide a motive for Drew Brees to kill or maim Matt Ryan.”
The lawyers say there are indeed actual rap beefs, but the idea that Wayne and Young Thug are the next Tupac and Biggie is absurd.
Wale Announces “Walepalooza” Festival For Next Summer
Crazy that we can remember when there wasn’t any festival worth attending in D.C. not that long ago (shout out to Trillectro for making the first move in changing that). Now, we can add another one to a growing list of dope events that include Broccoli City Fest and (as of today) Landmark Festival:
During his (AMAZING!) set, Wale announced that he’ll be following in the footsteps of Drake (OVO Fest) and Lil Wayne (LilWeezyAna Fest) by creating his own festival for D.C. Dubbed “Walepalooza”, the event is expected to both have plenty of the elements that you can only find in D.C. and surprises from many of Wale’s peers (he name-checked rappers like J. Cole, for example).
We certainly can’t wait to see what Wale cooks up for next Summer!
Rich Homie Quan Apologizes For Smoking With Baby In His Lap; CPS Investigation Launched
From TMZ:
Rich Homie Quan is copping to making a huge mistake when he lit up with his infant on his lap — question is … will it be enough to spare him a Child Protective Services investigation?
Quan says, “I would like to apologize to my son,(Royal) my fans and all the parents around the world.By no means would I do anything to hurt my son or any kid in the world.I regret that I chose to continue to smoke once Royal jumped in my lap.”
He put up a pretty loving pic of himself with Royal, and added, “I am sorry for my actions.” He never says exactly what he was smoking — marijuana or a hand-rolled cigarette.
TMZ broke the story … CPS and police in Georgia launched an investigation after seeing the smoking video, which RHQ posted himself — and after getting flooded with complaints.
RHQ says in spite of this mistake he’ll “continue to strive to be the best parent I can be.”
DMX Is Free (But May Have To Go Back To Jail)
From TMZ:
DMX is a free man once again … but he could still find himself back behind bars if his next hearing doesn’t go his way.
X was sentenced to serve 6 months in July for child support issues with a baby mama who lives in Buffalo. However, the rapper tells TMZ there was an issue with his original conviction … he was never made aware he owed the baby mama any money.
DMX was released Friday and greeted by his attorney Dominic Candino, but he can still find himself behind bars if the court finds X knew about the money problems all along and chose not to pay up.
As for his plans now that he’s free — X says he’s headed to a local Spanish food joint and will hit up the same studio where he recorded the song, “I Miss You,” later tonight.
