Jake Paul Gets To Running After Being Confronted by Floyd Mayweather

LOL. From TMZ:

Floyd Mayweather and Jake Paul came face-to-face in Miami after the Heat game Wednesday night … the legendary boxer and a group of men confronted the Problem Child — before JP booked it from the area.

The incident happened after the Heat-Cavs game in south Florida … when Mayweather rolled up on Paul, who appeared to have a lone security guard with him at the time.

After exchanging a few words, Jake made a run for it … getting out of there before any fists started flying.

Of course, Floyd and Jake have been beefin’ since Paul snatched the hat off the 50-0 boxers head at a press event promoting his brother Logan’s fight with TBE in May 2021.

Jalil Hackett, who turns 18 on May 11, is on his way to Las Vegas next week to train with one of his heroes, boxing champion Floyd Mayweather.

His trainer and father, Bernard Hackett, a one-time amateur boxer in D.C., is as happy as his son about recent events. And come June 6 in Miami, Floyd Mayweather will be at the top of the boxing card against Logan Paul.

And Bernard’s son will also be on the card boxing an opponent.

Mike Tyson Blasts Floyd Mayweather For Comparing Himself To Muhammad Ali

From TMZ:

Mike Tyson just WENT OFF on Floyd Mayweather — saying he’s “delusional” for comparing himself to Muhammad Ali … and called him a “little scared man.”

Tyson was doing an interview with the Undisputed Champion Network — when he was asked about Floyd’s claim that he’s truly the “greatest” of all time.

Clearly, that set Tyson off … who proceeded to explain why greatness isn’t solely defined in the ring.

Long story short, Tyson says Floyd’s just a “small scared man” … who’s so afraid for his own safety in public that he can’t take his kids to school without a security team.

“Greatness is not guarding yourself from the people, greatness is being accepted by the people.”

It’s Confirmed: Floyd Mayweather Vs. Marcos Maidana 2

Spotted on ESPN, where you can read even more on the story:

Mayweather-Maidana II — dubbed “Mayhem” — will go down Sept. 13 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena and headline a Showtime PPV card, the fourth bout of Mayweather’s six-fight deal with Showtime/CBS.

Although the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, has pressed hard to land a Mayweather fight, he is comfortable fighting in his hometown and will lace ’em up at the MGM Grand for the 10th consecutive time.

Mayweather is hoping to erase any doubt about what happened on May 3 when he faced Maidana for the first time and won a majority decision — 117-111, 116-112 and 114-114 — to unify 147-pound world titles in a very tough fight, one of the most competitive and entertaining of his career.

“Marcos Maidana is a tough customer and he gave me a fight that had me work for the victory,” Mayweather said in a news release. “His style is difficult at best, but with experience comes a way and will to win. I’m not one to give second chances in the ring, but I want to give the fans what they want to see. I will be as prepared as I always am when I step in the ring on Sept. 13. I only see the outcome one way and that’s another successful night for me and my team.”

Yesterday news broke that Floyd Mayweather & T.I got into a fight at Fatburger in Las Vegas after T.I approached him because of instagram photo. Since the fight broke, Floyd Mayweather has done an interview with Necole Bitchie to tell his side of the fight and T.I has posted a instagram video to clear up the rumors of having a black eye . But now you know black twitter would have something to say about the fight so check out their jokes in our gallery above.

Floyd Mayweather Reveals What Happened With T.I. In Las Vegas

A few hours ago, Footage from TMZ hit the internet from a fight between Floyd Mayweather & T.I at Fat Burger in Las Vegas. Now Floyd Mayweather gets a chance to tell his side of the the story and to apologize to Tiny . He sits with Necole Bitchie to reveal what happen between with T.I at the Fatburger restaurant in Las Vegas.  Read except from the interview below

Floyd on his relationship with Tiny
I been knowing Tiny before T.I. I’ve never slept with her, I never kissed her, never touched her in no inappropriate way. Her friend Shekinah wanted to come to the [May 4th] fight, she brought Tiny with her. They came to the fight.

After the fight was over Saturday night, Sunday they came over my mother’s house. My mother had a big, big party for me. They came over and showed love. They came over to my house all cool, all respect. Hang out with The Money Team, my crew. Everybody was cordial. No disrespecting type. After that, I guess she put a picture up on Instagram of her at the fight so I guess he [T.I.] was feeling some type of way.

On T.I approaching him over the Instagram photo
[T.I] came to me when I was in New York. He stepped to me when I was at the jewelery store like, “Yo, let’s go outside and talk.” We went outside to talk, but he talked about, basically, “These girls tryna play us against each other.” I said, “I don’t know what you’re talking about. You’re talking about your wife?” I never put up a picture of her on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook. I was basically like, “Listen. I’m letting you know I ain’t got…me and your wife don’t have nothing…if you think so.

So Memorial Day weekend, a lot of people come out to Las Vegas. Tiny and Shekinah was out here. They come to my party last night. They cool. Everything is cool. We was at the strip club. Everything was cordial. We having fun. I throw my daughter [Iyanna] a big [14th] birthday bash today. I’m eating at Fatburger and next thing you know, he walk in talking about we need to talk again. And then I told him, “You need to get the f-ck outta my face. That’s what you better do.” And then he said, “I ain’t talking to all these people so you ain’t gotta talk loud.” I said, “Listen, don’t come to my face with no disrespectful sh-t. Like I told you before, you must’ve forgot what I did for a living.” He said, “You do in the ring, I do it in the streets.” I said, “My man, I do it everywhere. You can find out if you want to.” Just like that.

Then a couple of words exchange and people got to pushing and a riot kinda broke out. And then a bunch of chaos and that was basically it. Because, like I said before, he probably does some foolish things, but he ain’t no damn fool to swing on me. Like, you must’ve forgot what I do for a living. He had a totally different look on his face.

On wanting to apologize to Tiny
Only person I wanna apologize towards is Tiny. I said something like “control your b-tch” and I don’t want to say that about Tiny. So I do apologize to Tiny because she cool people, man. She cool. She never been disrespectful to me. Shekinah never been disrespectful to me. I’m going to continue to support Tiny and Shekinah cause they’re cool people and I don’t got nothing against them. So I apologize for that.

I’m not sleeping with that girl [Tiny] and I told that man before. But if I was, talk to her about that, don’t talk to me about that. But I’m not going to be disrespectful because I’m not going to sleep with a married woman. Now if she was divorced…I still wouldn’t do that because I’m cool with her and we have a real cool and cordial relationship and sometimes sex can mess a good friendship up. And basically, I don’t want to f-ck up a good relationship that I have with a person. So whatever I said, “stole your b-tch…take your b-tch” or whatever, I apologize to Tiny and all of her children and T.I.’s children for saying that. I want to apologize to the children and Tiny and Tiny’s family for saying what I said.

As far as him swinging on me, I ain’t having that. You see me. I’m out all night. He didn’t make an appearance so let’s see how his face look.

And that pic floating around with Tiny and Floyd supposedly at Fatburger together, he says she wasn’t even there.

Tiny wasn’t there. My daughter had a birthday party. Tiny is married. I respect that. I don’t care if y’all separated, she’s still married under God’s eyes and the law. I’m not going to sleep with a married woman. I’m not going to do that. Like I said on All Access, I’m becoming a better person.

Floyd Mayweather Remains Undefeated, Defeats Marcos Maidana

UPDATE: The official scoring was just now posted on the screen as 115-114, 115-113, 115-114. Means little, obviously, but still.

****************************************

Well, there it is, folks. Floyd Mayweather, Jr. has extended his record to 46-0 after defeating Marcos Maidana (114-114, 117-111, 116-112) in one of the most electrifying boxing matches in a while. Full story coming soon.

Video Of Mayweather/Maidana Gloves Controversy Released

We previously mentioned that the big Mayweather/Maidana fight almost didn’t happen over boxing gloves….above is the video showing what went down. Spotted on Complex:

If you were looking forward to seeing Floyd Mayweather and Marcos Maidana square off in the ring tonight, we nearly had some bad news for you. Following the weigh-in last night, things took an unexpected turn when Mayweather’s manager, Leonard Ellerbe, stated that the custom blue-and-white Everlast gloves which Maidana planned on wearing for their bout didn’t have enough padding in the knuckle area. Check out the video above to see how the whole dispute went down.

Eventually, Maidana’s camp decided to switch a pair of Cleto Reyes gloves which the Nevada State Athletic Commission have already approved. However, Mayweather’s camp doesn’t want Marcos to wear what SB Nation refers to as “probably the most ‘puncher friendly’ gloves in the top end of the boxing glove market” and they’ve went as far as to threaten to pull out of the fight if they don’t get their way.

2 Chainz & Rick Ross Join Floyd Mayweather At Weigh-In; Gloves Controversy?

Seems like overkill, but then again — nothing is overkill when it comes to the flamboyantly rich Floyd Mayweather, Jr., who appeared at the MGM Grand with 2 Chainz and Rick Ross (additional footage here) to do his official weigh-in before his boxing match against Marcos Maidana…

…which may not happen due to an apparent dispute over boxing gloves. Yep. Spotted on NY Daily News, where you can read more on the story:

Shortly after the weigh-in for Saturday’s fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Marcos Maidana, a collective gasp went through the media center: the bout was in jeopardy because of a gloves dispute with one of Mayweather’s chief advisers claiming the bout was off.

As if the welterweight unification match didn’t need any more controversy, along comes Glovesgate.

A day before a fight, it’s customary for boxers to settle on the gloves they will wear. On Friday, Mayweather’s camp objected to a certain customized style blue Everlast MX Boxing glove that Maidana wanted to use.

After Mayweather loudly protested the use of the gloves, the Nevada Athletic Commission inspected the pair and ruled they “were not allowed,” according to Golden Boy CEO, Richard Schaefer.

“Ain’t no padding in the gloves,” Mayweather said, according to footage of the scene recorded by Fighthype.com. “It’s already broken in.”

BEEF: Floyd Mayweather Vs. Shantel Jackson Vs. Nelly (Vs. 50 Cent)

floyd

Spotted on Vlad TV:

Floyd Mayweather recently put his former girlfriend Shantel Jackson on full blast on Facebook, by posting a sonogram photo of their unborn twins.  Floyd stated in the caption that he broke up with her because she had an abortion and he is “totally against killing babies.”

Soon after that post hit the web, Nelly, Miss Jackson’s rumored new love interest, took to Twitter where he posted a tweet that many fans took to be a subliminal address at Floyd Mayweather.

“Why be rich with poor character..?” Nelly tweeted.

Fans were quick to jump on the post, with many believing that it was obviously intended for Floyd.  While several agreed with him and praised him for posting the tweet, others wrote things like “shots fired,” “Floyd gonna knock you out,” while some others directly added Floyd’s Twitter name to the comment to make sure he sees it.

Not to be outdone….here’s 50 Cent giving his thoughts on the matter:

Floyd Mayweather & His Goons Reportedly Beat The Breaks Off His Former Employees For Stealing Jewelry

Floyd-mayweather-michigan-state-bed-rose-bowl

From TMZ:

Floyd Mayweather allegedly orchestrated a savage attack on two of his employees he suspected of stealing his jewelry … TMZ has learned.

Sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ Sports … the two men had been hired to work on Floyd’s Vegas homes … but when jewelry went missing, Floyd pointed the finger at them.

We’re told the men claim they were contacted several weeks ago and instructed to meet Floyd at an off-site location.

When the men arrived, they claim Floyd was waiting for them — along with a number of his “people” —  who proceeded to beat the living crap out of them with various weapons, including clubs.

Our sources say the attack was so brutal the men could have easily died.  Both men had broken arms and legs and were hospitalized for several days.

One source put it this way, “It was some ‘Breaking Bad’ s**t.”

We’re told the men are adamant they never took anything from Floyd and it appears Floyd realizes that now.  But here’s the problem for the champ — sources familiar with the situation say the attack amounts to attempted murder, mayhem and kidnapping.  We’re told the men have retained a lawyer.

We reached out to Floyd’s people for comment — so far, no word back.

Floyd Mayweather To Amir Khan: If You Beat Adrien Broner, Then You Can Fight Me

Spotted on Bleacher Report:

Floyd Mayweather Jr. has agreed to face Amir Khan in a much-anticipated big-money bout—if the Englishman can overcome Adrien Broner first.

“Money” spoke honestly on Twitter, telling Khan he can earn the contract he has longed for with a victory over his American associate.

Khan responded angrily by retweeting the messages and suggesting Mayweather is one of many fighters to be wasting his time.

The Bolton-based boxer previously baited Broner with the suggestion of a fight, signalling he is desperate to face Mayweather, despite many believing he has little chance of overcoming the 37-year-old.

Mayweather’s response is perhaps out of character, given that he has previously appeared non-committal to a future bout with Khan, as noted by his decision to face Marcos Maidana, per Sky Sports.

Khan reportedly penned a contract in December to face Mayweather, but no mutual agreement was ever made.

Floyd Mayweather Reportedly Announces The Date Of His Last Fight Ever

floyd-mayweather

Floyd Mayweather Jr. says he’ll fight for the last time in September next year.

Mayweather told guests at a gala dinner in South Africa on Friday that he remembers his first fight when he was a kid in 1987, and that “September 2015 will be my last.”

The unbeaten five-division world champion, considered by many the best boxer of his era, said after beating Canelo Alvarez in a dominating display last September that he had four fights and two years left in his career.

Mayweather’s next bout will be in May against an undecided opponent, having said this week that British fighter Amir Khan and Argentine Marcos Maidana are the leading contenders.

Mayweather has a 45-0 record with 26 knockouts and made his pro debut in 1996. (AP)

Floyd Mayweather Tweets His Support Of Adrien Broner Following Loss

Following his upset loss to Marcos Maidana, Adrien Broner received some probably welcome support from undefeated champ Floyd Mayweather, which you can see above.

The unfortunate truth is that sometimes it takes a knockdown to be humble, and if you’ve followed any of Broner’s antics outside of the ring, it might be well-deserved.

Floyd Mayweather Denies Domestic Violence Claims But Admits To Restraining A Woman

floyd-mayweather-2013

Spotted on Eben Gregory, who threw up an interesting excerpt from Floyd’s recent interview with Sister2Sister Magazine:

Undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. is opening up a bit more about about the most recent domestic abuse charges he’s been involved with (in 2010 it was reported that he was being sought by police for questioning after his former girlfriend, Josie Harris, filed a domestic battery report against him).

Sister 2 Sister: Oh, honey, when I said I was going to do Floyd Mayweather, they said, “He beats them women up,” and “He doesn’t care about women,” and all that. I think I heard that about you before I heard about how great you are.

Floyd Mayweather, Jr.: Okay, I just want to say, what I do for a living, I’m in a contact sport, right? And if they say someone had bodily harm done to ‘em, since I’m already a fighter, before even giving me a chance, they’re going to say. “He’s guilty.” Now, restraining a woman that’s on drugs and alcohol, have I ever done that? Yes, from going crazy.

Sister 2 Sister: When you say restraining, do you mean pushing them?

Floyd: No, holding them.

In Addition To Banging Ray J, Princess Also Reportedly Set Up & Robbed Floyd Mayweather

Queen-Princess-Love-Floyd-Mayweather

According to Larry Brown Sports, this chick was scheming on a lot more than Ray J. We’ve recently posted about 50 Cent airing Floyd’s ex out regarding an apparent affair with Money Team custodian Ray J (more on that later), but it appears that she also managed to set up Mayweather for a quick robbery as well.

A connected source tells Larry Brown Sports that one of Mayweather’s homes was robbed the night of his Sept. 14 fight against Canelo Alvarez. Our source says about eight Rolex watches, close to $10,000 cash, and some other items were stolen from the home. Mayweather owns multiple properties in the Las Vegas area, and we’re told the home that was robbed is where Princess Love was staying.

Princess Love apparently tried pinning the burglary on one of her friends, but Floyd got in contact with that woman. The woman spilled to Floyd that Princess organized the robbery. She also apparently told Floyd that Princess was having an affair with Ray J, which is the first Mayweather learned of the relationship.

Speaking of that “relationship”, there are also a few pics that corroborate with the revelation that, while Princess was in Miami hanging with friends, it was there where she was found (by the aforementioned friend) to be screwing Brandy’s little brother. You can check out those pictures below (take note of her swimsuit).
