ARTWORK: Gucci Mane – Trap God 3
In addition to earning 3 more years in prison (after losing 1 year with a new ruling), Gucci Mane is still moving business forward with the artwork to his next project, Trap God 3, which drops 10/17 (get it?).
WOW: Gucci Mane Gets 3 More Years In Prison
Spotted on the Atlanta Journal-Constitution:
Rapper Gucci Mane pleaded guilty Monday to assaulting a fan who wanted a picture with him.
Fulton County Superior Court Judge Tom Campbell sentenced Mane, whose given name is Radric Davis, to three years in prison for hitting an Army staff sergeant with a bottle at the Harlem Nights club in Atlanta on March 16, 2013. The sergeant walked up to Davis in the club’s VIP section.
“Rather than accommodating the admiring fan, Davis, for no explicable reason, instead, hit the victim over the head with a vodka bottle and then hurriedly left the club,” District Attorney Paul Howard said in a statement. “The victim sustained a deep laceration to his forehead which required ten stitches.”
Davis has a history of assaults and run-ins with the law.
He was sentenced in August to 39 months in federal prison for illegal possession of a firearm. At the time of that sentence, he had already spent 11 months in custody, which meant then he only had 28 months more to serve on his federal sentence.
His newest aggravated assault sentence in Fulton County will run concurrently with that sentence. It was unclear Monday on whether Davis was getting credit for the time he already served.
He was also convicted of battery in 2011 in DeKalb County and of aggravated assault in Fulton County in 2005.That same year, Davis was charged with murder in DeKalb County after shooting a Macon rapper he said attacked him. The charges were later dropped.
He also was charged with battery in 2008 in Henry County, but the victims were apparently unwilling to testify so the case fell apart, according to the federal prosecutor at his August sentencing.

Gucci Mane, Sean Paine and co release Gucci’s latest album, The Return Of Mr. Perfect for free (at least for now.) Unlike previous releases, the project has beats from a variety of producers as opposed to one or two. Gucci Mane – Mrs. Perfect 2014 (Prod. by CNOTE)
Gucci raps about the perfect girl for this new leak from the upcoming Mr. Perfect album. Produced by Honorable CNOTE.
Gucci Mane – Lil Dudes (Prod. by Dun Deal)
Despite the promise of an album yesterday, Gucci’s team must still need time to finish the Return of Mr. Perfect. Until then, we have “Lil Dudes” produced by Dun Deal. It has everything you need for a classic Gucci Mane song; a simply, catchy hook, absurd comparisons and punchlines and then Gucci blacking out with a classic flow. Yeah.
Gucci Mane – The Return of Mr. Perfect (Album Cover)

After some good news about his release date, Gucci is dropping another album tomorrow. Here is the cover.
Gucci Mane Gets A Small Break; Will Be Getting Out Of Prison A Year Early
Spotted on TMZ:
According to court docs … after initially ruling against Gucci, an Atlanta judge has finally given the rapper the year’s worth of credit for time served he’s earned since his arrest for gun possession last September.
His 39-month sentence was originally scheduled to begin August 2014 when the judge made his ruling … but now that sentence will begin at the time of his arrest.
The 34-year-old’s been in and out of prison most of his adult life … with prior stints for hitting a fan with a bottle and pushing a woman out of a moving car. He was even charged with murder in 2005 … but prosecutors ultimately dropped the case.
He’s scheduled to be released in December 2016.

Gucci Mane & C4 – The Oddfather Intro
Gucci Mane spits some of his most personal lyrics ever through the jail phone for the intro to his new album The Oddfather, produced entirely by C4. I’ve lost track of the number of projects he’s dropped this year, but they’ve all been surprisingly decent/good despite his incarceration. Download/purchase Gucci Mane’s – The Oddfather Album here (iTunes). Features from OJ Da Juiceman, Young Scooter, Peewee Longway and more.
UPDATE: Full album stream added below.
Young Dolph Feat. Gucci Mane – Choppa On The Couch (Video)
Young Dolph and (currently incarcerated) Gucci Mane visualize their latest single.

Gucci Mane & Co. – Felix Brothers (Album Stream)

Gucci Mane’s team drops his collaboration album with Peewee Longway and Young Dolph. Production from Dun Deal, 808 Mafia, Lex Luger, C Note, Zaytoven, Metro Boomin, and features from MPA, OJ Da Juiceman, Strap Da Fool . A lot of bangers on here, despite how many tracks Gucci has released this year and the unorganized manner in which the project was released.
Gucci Mane, Young Dolph & PeeWee Longway – Felix Brothers

Gucci prepares to drop his fifth project this year (eighth if you count the albums he dropped from the Migos, Peewee, etc.) He really must have LIVED in the studio before going back to prison. Anyways, Gucci, Peewee and Dolph are now the “Felix Brothers”, named after the Tijuana Cartel, and they’ve dropped a first single as an announcement.
ALBUM REVIEW: Young Thug – 1017 Thug 2
I remember when I heard the original 1017 Thug; it was admittedly retroactive, after JUKEBOXDC writer JL continued to push the artist’s music on the website. Simply put, it was definitely the early signs of the growing star that he is now…with that said, I was about to give a very thorough review of this project here (the so-called sequel), but some media outlets realized something:

This project is one of the many being churned out of incarcerated rapper Gucci Mane’s label No Limit Records-style. Young Thug (most likely) has nothing to do with this — the recordings were probably done while he was formally “signed” to the 1017 imprint, and you can hear the lack of freshness in each song. But the above cover? The fact that they literally pasted Young Thug’s face on Wiz Khalifa’s body (even leaving notable tattoos in place) is absolutely hilarious.
If you want some Young Thug music just for the sake of it, this project should hold you over for a few days….unfortunately, none of the tracks in any way compare to the current quality from the Atlanta emcee (ex. ‘Danny Glover’, ‘Stoner’) and — side note — we haven’t been hearing a whole lot in that style of production when he’s making music for Birdman, either (ex: ‘Lifestyle’).
I don’t even have a notable cut from this that I feel sticks out as a gem on the project.
Lyor Cohen and Kevin Liles: I hope you guys have a solution to this…otherwise, Young Thug is going to eventually begin moving backwards. With that said, you can enjoy a stream of the project below; the purchase link is over at iTunes.
UPDATE: If you click on that iTunes link, you’ll see that whoever made that savagely-plagiarized artwork presented something more original.
ALBUM STREAM: Gucci Mane – Trap House Four
Check out a full album stream of Gucci Mane’s latest project, which you can also buy using the link below.
Young Dolph Feat. Gucci Mane – Choppa On The Couch
Young Dolph (presumably) scored himself a pre-incarcerated Gucci Mane verse for his new single, the straight to the point ‘Choppa On The Couch’, which is taken from his forthcoming mixtape High Class Street Music 4 (American Gangster) (out July 8th).
Peewee Longway ft. Gucci Mane & Offset – Diamonds

Peewee Longway is apparently dropping a “bonus” version of the Blue M&M, entitled King Sized this Friday, just a week after dropping an album with Gucci Mane. “Diamonds” featuring Gucci and Offset, will be on the new tape.
