French Montana sat down with MTV and told them the stuff Gucci Mane said about him were true regarding his dealings with Waka Flocka’s mom Deb:

Whoever writing that, they gotta be real close to him, cause the situation that he was talking about with me, he wasn’t lying. I was there with Deb. I don’t know how much money he gave her, but it was money involved… That situation he was talking about on Twitter I can say that’s real.

Spin: “Gucci Mane’s Twitter Rant Is a Cry For Help”

Gucci_Mane_performing_at_the_Williamsburg_Waterfront_2

In my opinion, Brandon Soderberg hit the nail on the head;

Still, it’s hard not to feel very bad for the guy. Gucci’s scorched earth policy towards his career is a case study in the worst case scenario for what happens to a street rapper in the current rap climate where major labels hedge their bets, and the kind of creative gangsta rap Gucci makes can get nowhere near the pop charts. For a very long time, major labels assisted guys like Gucci Mane, providing them resources and promotion, and presumably, would help them when they were clearly addicted to drugs or mentally ill. Around the middle of the 2000s, at about the point when record sales were cratering and the Internet ruined and fixed everything at all at once, street rappers became nothing more than a liability. Their regional success, street buzz, and savvy ability to mine the mixtape scene and the modern day chitlin circuit of touring didn’t mean shit.

It is not a coincidence that street rap’s pop stars all ended up in jail in the late 2000s: Lil Wayne, T.I., Lil Boosie, Gucci Mane. These guys were no longer protected or assisted by their labels, because suddenly, dangerous rappers were simply not worth the investment. If you can’t get behind that — because yeah, all four of those guys certainly had a hand in their own incarcerations — consider Young Jeezy’s rocky, post-The Recession career (he went from dropping an album a year to constant delays), or the convenient rise of Rick Ross, who wears street-rap menace like a costume, but has none of the problems of guys who are actually from the streets. Rick Ross isn’t going to try to buy guns in a parking lot or throw someone out of a moving car.

LMAO: Tweeting With Gucci Mane

Lil’ Romeo and ICDC College presents… Tweeting with Gucci Mane: a parody based on Gucci Mane’s Twitter rant earlier today. Gucci Mane got on Twitter today and began to call out any and everyone. Gucci Mane claimed he and Flocka had sex with Nicki Minaj and Tyga’s baby mother, Chyna. Gucci Mane also called out a list of artists. No one is sure if it was really Gucci Mane tweeting or if Gucci Mane got hacked. Gucci Mane did retweet an account belonging to someone who claimed to be Gucci Mane’s brother. The tweet did claim that Gucci Man was hacked but that’s still not confirmed. Regardless, Gucci Mane, of Gucci Mane’s Twitter account stirred up a lot of drama that left a bunch of people mad at Gucci Mane.

Throwback: Nicki Minaj Says Gucci Mane Needs Therapy

Four months ago, HipHopDX quoted Nicki’s Hot 107.9 Interview (which you can watch above) where she spoke about her feelings for Gucci as well as how she thought he needed an “intervention”

“So, it’s like I separate Gucci the artist from Gucci the person. Gucci the person is a sweet, loving, carefree, funny, hardworking dude. And so I never really paid attention to anything he said…In terms of intervention, I think about how talented he is and I kind of wish there was somebody that could step in and say ‘Gucci, if you only knew how special you were. You would take a moment to really just get centered.’ I just think he really needs to center himself and not to point fingers because I’ve had moments when I needed to center myself. Sometimes you just need to be alone in a meditating type of place and to just kinda block out all the other noise.”

Young Throwback (Gucci Mane’s Brother) Claims His Twitter was Hacked

ATL rapper Young Throwback (pictured above), who is Gucci Mane’s blood brother, is claiming that the 1017 head honcho had his twitter hacked, despite retweeting some of Gucci’s more controversial statements earlier today. Gucci’s “official” account also retweeted it…come to your own conclusions. I personally doubt it.

Gucci Mane & Waka Flocka Are At It Again On Twitter

For the looks of it, Waka Flocka & Gucci Mane are back at it on Twitter; this time, Frenchie (Waka’s artist), OJ Da Juiceman and Wooh Da Kid (also Waka’s artist) joined in the conversation. AllHipHop reports:

So, it seems like “Stringer Bell” of the IC found this was going on. All out Twitter beef with Gucci, Waka, OJ da Juice Man, Frenchie and more.

Now, there seems to be a couple key things going on.

– Frenchie accused Gucci of stealing from his artists.
– Frenchie also said that Gucci was paying the lawyer fees of the killer of Slim Dunkin, Young Vito.
– Then somebody said that Deb Antney (Waka’s mom) was stealing from OJ Da Juiceman
– Then Gucci claims he was offered $250k to buy Waka out of his deal and Gucci says he laughed at that foolishness. He apparently wants like $1 million for his prized possession.
-Gucci seemed to suggest that French Montana was sleeping wit Deb. I’m not sure about that though.

Most of the photos Gucci Mane has been posting to Instagram lately have been of his girl, Keyshia Ka’oir. The “Nuthin on Ya” rapper’s latest pic of his boo is her chilling topless in the indoor pool of a Vegas penthouse, which he captioned “Damn my baby bad!! In da penthouse acting up #MrsGuwopinVEGAS she had me taking these pics.”

Gucci Mane Disses Young Jeezy, Yo Gotti & T.I., Then Offers To Sell Waka Flocka For 1 Million

I don’t know if it was Kendrick that got everyone hype, but Gucci Mane has decided to not only re-diss his peers in the South, but also to offer up his brother/artist turned enemy for a cool mil:

Gucci Mane Sued For Allegedly Double-Booking Shows

Gucci-Mane-Truth-Video-Still

From TMZ:

Empire Entertainment filed a lawsuit against Gucci — real name Radric Davis — claiming it paid him $22,500 to perform in Little Rock, Arkansas on November 22nd … but didn’t get their money’s worth. Here’s why:

Empire says prior to the gig, a nightclub in Tennessee began advertising a Gucci show for the same night — and says Gucci himself promoted it on Twitter.

Empire says it called Gucci’s people — who assured them, no TN gig was happening.

But the night of the concert, Empire says it became clear Gucci’s people lied … claiming the rapper only performed 3 songs (15 min of stage time) and then hightailed it 138 miles to perform at the other club. Then drove back to stay in the hotel Empire provided.

Empire says Gucci’s 2nd gig torpedoed their ticket sales. The company is suing for breach of contract and fraud. It wants all the cash it spent on his fee, hotel, travel and promotions.
